  • I read something recently that Padre Pio used carbolic acid to open his skin to feign these stigmata, and supposedly his pharmacist had paperwork to support his use of carbolic acid, however in defense of this carbolic acid was also used as a early antibacterial agent and might have been used to try to keep his wounds from becoming infected.

  • This is all bullsh*t read SUN newspaper dated 16 November 2011 page 23, Padro Pio used carbolic acid, people are so gullible lmao.

  • pls pray for us...

  • St. Padre pio praye for me poor sinner.

  • With all the respect, stigmata signs do not come from God..

( BTW is a gr. word.. We use it if someone has bad reputation & a shame for the society )

  • WEIRD

  • Truly one of the greatest Saints of our time! Padre Pio, pray for us!

  • @mufc1970ok,

yeah, coz homosexuality is SO wrong,NOT! I am catholic AND gay and I'm as 'normal' as you, pal!

  • Sorry to break this to all of you but it´s all just a hoax. Padre Pio is a sham and a fake and the pope is an athiest.

  • @emolater2 Wow that's interesting, where did you get your facts? Okay, let's just pretend for a second that you are right. What would the Pope have to gain by pretending to be Atheist, and why (or how) would Padre Pio 'pretend' to have the stigmata and all of the other gifts he had?

  • we need more holy priests like him , please jesus crush the proud wicked head of satan

  • Happy Anniversary Padre Pio and thank you for always being there.

  • Padre Pio, pray for us <3

  • Thank you cosmotonerecords

I enoyed this track. Are you a PP devotee?

  • Ummm wasn't jesus a jew?...... mankind corrupts everything.... our interpretations of the bible disregards the message of love and respect for each other and most importantly our creator. We are not God... so can we just stop judgeing?

  • The only problem with his wounds is that the palms cannot support the weight of the body during a crucifixion. The lacerations on his hands are definitely not in the correct place...

  • I LOVE PADRE PIO!! He is my favorite saint!

  • Ecumenism is not Catholic. John himself, the Apostle of love, who seems to reveal in his Gospel the secrets of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and who never ceased to impress on the memories of his followers the new commandment "Love one another," alogether forbid any intercourse with those who professed a mutilated and corrupt version of Christ's teaching: "If any man come to you and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into the house, nor say to him: God speed you."

  • Yet, I am confused about this, lets say you have a jewish friend.. does that mean we cannot take him into our home?

  • This is a general admonition. Christ does not forbid us to talk to others, or bar all Jews from our property, this would be contrary to the Charity which Christ preached.

It warns rather, of being too "familiar" with those who reject the True faith, lest we also fall into error/disbelief:

Titus 3:10 - "A man that is a heretic, after the first and second admonition, avoid"

Too many people are decived by hearing others preach error and modernism etc.

  • @iotaunam1 You see the lies of Vatican II. Ecumenism was condemned by Pope Pius 11, i think. Mortalium Annimos. or something like that. But Pio is a saint, no doubt!

  • @defgill -

Of course Padre Pio is a Saint - there is no question. He would not have went along with this ecumenism endorsed by the Vatican.

  • @iotaunam1 St. Vincent Ferrer recognized antipope Benedict XIII as pope during Pope Boniface IX's reign. The new mass was not instituted until Pio's death and not much people were aware of the Apostasy at the time. Though St. Pio never celebrated the new mass and according to biographers is reported as saying "keep the faith of our fathers" at the end of his life. So holy men can be wrong about certain things and ignorant about others as his life shows, even in other things. He wasn't omniscient

  • @defgill

While you are correct in saying that the mass was not promulgated until 1969 - a modified version (yet more orthodox than the NO) was issued in 64/65 as an experiment in Italy. It was from saying this that Padre Pio got dispensation. He said the Traditional Mass all his life. Also, I agree that saints are not infallible and can err.

  • @iotaunam1 there are many variatons of the mass but only one Trientine Latin Mass. The motu mass and novous ordor are not good and should be avoided.

  • @defgill - I know that the NO should be avoided for obvious reasons.

The Indult/Motu Proprio Mass usually is said by a NO priest who is a modernist and preaches Vatican II. This is the reason it should be avoided - not really beacause of the changes made to it (which were not substantial).

  • @iotaunam1 it's true that only some changes were made but it closely resembles non-catholic mass which popes have defined to be invalid. also the eucharist is invalid because the words were changed in such a way that it no longer signifies what it used to make it valid.

  • @defgill

I'm not trying to defend the NO mass at all! It is a protestantized liturgy for a protestantized faith.

  • @iotaunam1 thanks that makes me feel better. seriously it does. So I hope you're a Traditionalist Catholic then (pre-vatican II, aka Catholic)

  • @defgill

I am a Catholic period. Post vatican II error is not remotely Catholic. It is modernism/protestantism condemned by the Popes for 2000 years.

  • @iotaunam1 what i'm getting at is, do you belong to some society or something like that. do you follow sspx, sspv, cmri, dimond brothers, some other independent group or did you just decide to go on your own without a church.

  • @defgill -

I know exactly where you are comming from and the reason for your question. I am not sedevacantist. I can tell that you have been heavily influenced by the Diamond Brothers. I attend a SSPX Mass and thank God for Archbishop Lefebvre.

I will not be pigeon holed however into being called an "Lefebvreite" any more than those who followed St Athanasius were "Athanatiusites". I am Catholic like the whole Church was beforeVII.

  • @iotaunam1 why was the mass changed in 62 and what was the idea of the 2nd vatican council i feel like sreaming at prists who dont talk about hell , the devil about sin

  • @mufc1970ok

The mass was changed from 1965 -1968 approx. - the liberals and modernists wanted an ecumenical liturgy which would sit better with their new theology, while removing what was "too Catholic" . Vatican II and its revolution was predicted in the 3rd secret of Fatima and the Popes warned of the errors now accepted and promoted by the upper hierarchy and the Pope, unfortunately. Sin is relative to most so-called priests now, most of which deny Catholic dogma anyway.

  • @iotaunam1 the catholic church and priests are being attacked like never before our lady told this at garabandal in 62 to the four seers , we need more holy priests like corapi because they are the only ones who can consecrate the host in to the body and blood of christ the devil knows this only too well , its him whos behind all this abuse in the church , pray for more holy priests will you

  • @mufc1970ok -

Garabundal is not a real apparition. Also, Father Corapi is far from conservative.

  • @iotaunam1 garabandal had a very real message for the whole world , whats wrong with corapi

  • @mufc1970ok

On careful investigation you will find Garabundal to be false, though I do not think the seers are decieving people like medjugorje. There was preternatural activity there, as the tapes show - but walking backwards and falling to the ground as well as endorsing the things warned against at Fatima totally refute any idea that the Mother of God appeared there. As for Fr Corapi, he supports the same Vatican II revolution, while appearing to reject liberalism.

  • @iotaunam1 pio said he saw the miracle at garabandal he was hardly false he was a believer in garabandal

  • @mufc1970ok

Yes, I know where you are coming from. At the outset, Garabundal seemed authentic and echoed many true words from other approved apparitions, but some of the things which happened there simply could not happen in a real apparition.

The Statement attributed to Padre Pio is false. He did not endorse it at all. Even if he did, he was a great saint - but even saints are not infallible, and can follow false apparitions and even false Popes, as has happend in the past.

  • @iotaunam1 what is the churchs view on garabandal , im just as much catholic as you are but like fatima , garabandal was a very strong message for the whole world, did know about the priest who died shorly after seeing the miracle , he died of joy he was only 37 like fatima one of the children were givin a secret , if anything the world has grown worse since 62 , legalised abortion , porn , child porn as the norm rampant homosexuality , what do you think

  • @mufc1970ok

As far as I know no Bishop has approved it, and all Bishops of santander and garabundal have declared that no supernatral events happened there. That does not rule out the preternatural. Besides, if one thing is wrong with the appartion its all wrong. God cannot make mistakes.

Yes, the priest was very holy aparantly, but that does not correct the problems with the events. He could have been decieved. Also, the central messages about clergy on the road to perdiction is accurate.

  • @iotaunam1 i suppose all will be reveiled in time , ive been to fatima four times , i was their in june this year im going to a call to fatima talk in cork ireland on the 30th of oct which should be good lucias docter is one of the speakers , what do think about akita warnings
