I like that case and i think its awesome but the only problem that i feel before getting one is that it doeasnt protect to power and volume buttons like the speck candy shell and the speck pixelskin. If incase had rubber covering them then id buy one without a second thought. I dont want my power and volume buttons worn out because they are exposed to wear and tear. Thanks

@CrazyDivvie the ipod touch screen is EXTREMELY scratch resistant, and the only way you could scratch it is with a very hard and sharp piece of metal, and you have to rub against it very harshly by the way. so the only thing that will maybe get scratched by the cover is the shiny and reflective metal part on the back of the ipod

the lip sits a little above the screen so it never touches it but it looks like it does a little. ive noticed nothing other than a little film and dust/dirt that collects over time around the edges and inside the edges. Just take out the ipod every few days or a week and clean the screen off all the way and its like bran new. I have had this case for a while now and my ipod is still in pristine shape. The back seems to get little marks where the rails are though but ohh well who cares.

yup, ipod touch 2g and 3g are the exact same thing, some of the 3g have different hardware and thats it. the 3g also has 3.0 pre-installed.

First I took off the bottom piece. Then I put a guitar pick under the volume rocker piece so that the case and iPod would be separated. I did the same with the Sleep and wake button. Then...PUSHHHHHHH. It came out :P

Btw- I had on an Anti-Glare DLO Screen protector on the front... hehe.

How do you take this thing off? I have the same thing but in Gun Metal (like grayish color), and it is easy to remove the bottom piece. The top piece does not move. I've tried pulling the bottom part off. I've tried putting a small object down the Sleep/Wake button on the top, and it won't budge!!
