  • Thanks.

  • Nice!

  • Unfortunately, they are only turned on during massive sporting events. Other than that, they are turned off for the most part.

  • They were turned off.

  • Why the escalators doesn't work?

  • Yes, I agree with you on that.

  • 5 stars for walking all 11 floors, LOL

might as well call those stairs ;)

  • That's amazing, and I wonder if there are any buildings with say 20 floors that have escalators serving all floors.

  • wow there is a macys in pittsburgh with 13 story escalators 12-13 have old wooden escalators I will film all the escaltors when I go back to Macys and they have old elevators and they are messed up but still I will get videos

  • It sure is amazing to have escalators serve many floors, and I did do the elevators earlier this year. I didn't bump into any walls, but it was just the transfer from 1-3 to the upper floors 4-11.

  • Wow!!! This is truly amazing. Did you almost bump into the wall? Where are the elevators. I encourage you to film the elevators. That would be fun!

  • That's amazing how there are escalators that serve 15 floors, but it's too bad they resulted in failures/injuries, and typically, most escalators work best in 2-6 floor applications.

  • That's a lot of escalators. The escalators at the Peachtree Center Station on Marta run about 15 floors, but they're continuous. I usually take the elevator, since it's much faster. Also, those escalators have had catastrophic failures in the past, resulting in some severe injuries.

  • do you mind filming them pleese

  • Yes, it was a really good workout, even if they were turned on. But they were turned off to save energy, and are only used on the big game days.

  • That had to have been a good workout. Why were they all turned off?

  • Yes, it would be interesting to be in a 12-floor building with escalators on each floor, and it would be exciting if they were all turned on.

  • Very nice. I would like to ride those someday.

  • That is the biggest bank of turned-off escalators I have ever seen! I have seen banks like that with running escalators, but never with turned-off escalators.

  • It is so disappointing to see them all turned off.

  • Kinda reminds me of the Macy's in Downtown Pittsburgh. They have a bank of several old modernized Otis traction elevators, and they also have escalators that go up all 12 (?) floors. It has been so long since I have been there, I have forgotten how many floors there are. PatrickNedz may know. Anyway, they have the top floor shut down, which is a shame, because they have antique Otis Wood-Step Escalators. A true gem of old elevating technology.
