lol I think this is the same tornado where you hear the guy in the other video go,WE ARE IN THE TORNADO, WE ARE IN THE TORNADO, WE ARE IN THE TORNADO!!!! LOL
Holy hell Jason! That is incredible video! Other than agreeing with your comments about the tripod, I don't know much else that could have improved this video!
I shot the other vantage of this from an IPhone about 1/4 mile in front of you. Believe me, I had no intention of going out on a chase that day nor filming thus kind of footage. It is good to have several different angles to view this from and help us as EMCs, Spotters, and Chasers to better understand behavior patterns and debris fields. This was the 2nd strongest tornado in North Texas in October since 1981. The other was also in Navarro County and was near Goodlow with an F3 rating.
Unreal and very nice video.....just wish a tripod would have been used at times, but I did that kind of no no myself on June 17th, but thanks for bringing us all this tornadic pleasure!!
@2DSTORMS It was one of those days I just happened to leave the tripod... who knew this kind of shot would happen athe end of October!! I have definitely had my regrets about that. And I got caught watching the real thing rather than the camera as it was coming through ride a little, it was to amazing not to see with my eyes! Thanks for posting!
Did you get paid for this footage. I live in this south Dallas area and chase religiously but was working in West Ft Worth at the time. I was pissed when I saw the dopplar and Tornado Warn. Grrr so close to home and missed it. Simply Pissed!
Jason, great job on the video. From the view perspective it appears that you are on the FM 1126 overpass. Your video along with the "In Tornado" video are both equally important. They provide alternate views of a powerful storm. With your video we see the broad destructive power and some amazing footage. Concerning the "In Tornado" video, it takes the viewer inside tornadic circulation putting you face to face with the storms raw power, this too is amazing footage. Excellent job guys!
Holy. Crap. This is amazing footage, Jason. You let the camera do the work, capture the power of Storm. Favoriting. WOW. The cars driving into that ... *dropjawed*
god this was an AMAZING video! job well done!

That is SO freaky that one side of the sky is a blue sky with fluffy white clouds and then the monster is right beside it!!! 5:15

Great video. I was about 2 miles south of where it crossed I-45. It was fairly long lived tornado.
