Mandelbrot said very plainly "I did not invent the Mandelbrot Set". Still, his work in complex mathematics introduced us to something amazing and beautiful. By this, he gave us a wonderful gift.

@ElicaTeam No, I think he did mean `pieces` as in `fractions` as in `fractals` (self-referential fractionalization being the defining attribute of fractals, his field of study).

I got your link to this video from the Fractal Forums Spring Contest announcement. That was cool. Your mixing of real world photographs with deep zooms and the types of baby "'Brots" was fun to see too.
