Why does he care about her afterlife? Seems like he's trying to reassure himself that his logic about life and religion is correct by questioning others' beliefs. @uja11 Yes, I have considered that there are people that don't care about what I'm saying, but that's not the point, the point is that I continue to spread God's message anyway. Everybody won't go to Heaven when they leave this Earth and I understand that. There wouldn't be a need for Hell if everyobdy was meant to go to Heaven. My job as a Christian is to save as many people as I can for God, despite all of the non-believers and blasphemers who continue to mock and disobey God's Word.

@eichoob2105 No. Living a life full of sin is, of course, a bad thing to do, and living it without sin is good...but impossible. There is no such thing as a good person. So how do you define by yourself what is a good thing and what is a bad thing to do in life, considering that you're full of sin? And since you're full of sin, how can you spread God's word, knowing that it might be engulfed in sin? If we would meet tomorrow, how would I know you're not lying to me about God?
@uja11 You're right, living a life without sin is impossible because we all have sinned, but that's what repentance and true conversion is called. There are people out there that have a false conversion, and there are plenty of hypocrites also, but these people have not truly repented and put their full trust in the Lord. I would know, I used to be a hypocrite. I used to claim that I loved Jesus and that I was saved but I wasn't bearing any fruit from my lifestyle.

@gpmerl The cells were created by the natural processes of the body they comprised, likewise, the natural processes that govern the limits of those cells determine when they can no longer function viably. Just one example of this is Josephus who wrote about Jesus during His physical time on this earth. There are many others as well. Where are the non-biblical accounts of the loaves and fishes? Thousands of people were there yet not one wrote of the so-called miracle. How about the virgin birth? The resurrection? Even the Bible can't get those stories straight and both are historically inaccurate in so many ways.

I don't have a "pastor" to decieve, or whatever it is you believe about pastors/deacons or what have you. However most of the old Tanach has been proven (ebla tablet ect) and the Berit Hadashah has been proven over and over and over again. Most historians consider all of the Bible to be a historical document. And none of it contradicts itself.

If you don't think the Bible contradicts itself, you clearly haven't read it. @Joosybum i've read most of the Bible, but it was sporadic; now I'm reading from the beginning to the end. Now It's not a secret that having a relationship with Elohim is not based on his word alone. It's a relationship, not just a set of instructions on how to live a life pleasing to him.Now these people who do write these books do have a religious agenda, at least not all. the probability of a life permitting universe is so unbelievably next to impossible compared to a non life permitting universe.. but when you take the design and creation of the universe and add a creator, which is what every creation/design is in need of, then its very understandable to see why theres life in a universe which is finely tuned and complex.. in your comment you say to question and take probability rather then faith and certainty, its a fact

If I truly believe gravity doesn't work if I jump off a tall building I'd be wrong and shortly dead after trying it. Each of us has sinned against God when His commandments are broken. After breaking the law on speeding and getting caught there is a judgement against us. Eternity is more serious then that, and if we lie for example we will end up in hell.

Jesus was totally inocent and I don´t think it seams fair he paid for our faults but he did it because he loves us and he didn´t came to rescue good people, he came for bad people, to make them good and to give them eternal life.
@gabygsdh Let's try another example. A serial killer kills a 4 year old child. The child's parents were atheists and the child had never heard of Jesus. The serial kill is caught and sent to prison. While in prison, the killer accepts Jesus and repents his sins. As i understand, the killer would go to heaven and the child would burn in hell for eternity. This doesn't seem very just to me.

Earth is (Or was) a paradise and it will be restored to that same place soon. Going to hell is a bad way to scare people into the belief that you promote.
Look at Ecclesiastes 9:5 to see what it reads about dead people. Doesn't mention hell there or anywhere else in any of the 66 books of the bible.
"No is perfect." Why would she say that if she didn't believe deep down that believing perfect entailed a perfect morality. We all have fallen short of this perfection, which is God. He is the perfect ideal of good and love. Humans are the ones who kill, lie, cheat and steal. We are the ones who are fallen. God is perfect. And its only made worse because its to give a loophole for a rule that god made in the first place rather than just saying "Forgiven." Demanding a sacrifice, be it human or animal, is anything but merciful as it demands you harm someone in order to do it, especially when you have the power to simply forgive. Furthermore simply brushing aside my points by saying "I don't have to" doesn't change the fact that they're there.

God, who is just, is a far more strict judge than a criminal court and will accept nothing less that total innocence. You can't beat a murder wrap with "good character". @eichoob2105 No. Living a life full of sin is, of course, a bad thing to do, and living it without sin is good...but impossible. There is no such thing as a good person. So how do you define by yourself what is a good thing and what is a bad thing to do in life, considering that you're full of sin? And since you're full of sin, how can you spread God's word, knowing that it might be engulfed in sin? If we would meet tomorrow, how would I know you're not lying to me about God?

@uja11 You're right, living a life without sin is impossible because we all have sinned, but that's what repentance and true conversion is called. There are people out there that have a false conversion, and there are plenty of hypocrites also, but these people have not truly repented and put their full trust in the Lord. I would know, I used to be a hypocrite. I used to claim that I loved Jesus and that I was saved but I wasn't bearing any fruit from my lifestyle.

Another lie that you talk about the Ten Commandments but you preach about Sabbath in the first day of the week when Bible talk about the seventh day with a emphasis in Hebrews 4 (Try the Interlinear Bible).

One needn't even consider an explanation outside of the realm of matter because the one medical science has found is sufficient to explain the phenomena in no uncertain terms.

The only thing Ray is in error about is that you dont have to surrender your life to Christ to be saved. You must only believe in your heart that you are guilty and that Jesus sacrificed himself for you and rose on the third day.
Salvation is by grace through faith.
You have to choose one either grace or works. If grace involves works it is no longer grace.

It's easy to ambush random people on the street who aren't prepared for his selective approach to scripture. He is also basing his opinions on a book which is demonstrably false and often immoral, but none of these people are equipped or prepared to argue that with him. There is no common sense here, just Ray's and some Christians' opinions.

All of Genesis has no basis in scientific fact, while stories of Jesus' birth and death are not based on historic truths. And as far as morality goes, God justifies genocide, slavery and the objectification of women, while the NT tells believers to abandon their families to follow a cult leader. However, I doubt facts will sway you anyway.

Just one example of this is Josephus who wrote about Jesus during His physical time on this earth. There are many others as well. There is a lot of evidence including these historical writers who lived during the same time. If you continue to scoff and make things up like that it could really hurt you during eternity. Where are the non-biblical accounts of the loaves and fishes? Thousands of people were there yet not one wrote of the so-called miracle. How about the virgin birth? The resurrection? Even the Bible can't get those stories straight and both are historically inaccurate in so many ways.

You realize slavery back then was more like house keepers now. In fact slaves were most often people who had no way of repaying a debt, also if the slave got attached to the family they would have been given a mark on there forehead as a symbol stating they wished to stay with that family as their slave.

The only group wiping out populations in those stories are the Israelites because they said god promised them that land. Most of those murdered by the Hebrews had done nothing to them but were in the way. What had the babies and unborn done? Fortunately archaeology and historical evidence have revealed that those stories have no basis in reality.

I don't need someone to tell me if it is all real or not, especially in regards to the Biblical god. All I had to do was read the Bible to realize that it wasn't true or even consistent with itself. Read it critically and carefully, and maybe learn some history from credible scholars who don't have religious agendas.

I don't have a "pastor" to decieve, or whatever it is you believe about pastors/deacons or what have you. However most of the old Tanach has been proven (ebla tablet ect) and the Berit Hadashah has been proven over and over and over again. Most historians consider all of the Bible to be a historical document. And none of it contradicts itself.

If you don't think the Bible contradicts itself, you clearly haven't read it. It contradicts itself on several occasions, gives vastly different accounts of the same events, and is historically inaccurate regarding everything from creation, Noah's Ark, and the Tower of Babel to the birth and crucifixion. Those who say otherwise are monumentally ignorant.

@Joosybum i've read most of the Bible, but it was sporadic; now I'm reading from the beginning to the end. Now It's not a secret that having a relationship with Elohim is not based on his word alone. It's a relationship, not just a set of instructions on how to live a life pleasing to him.Now these people who do write these books do have a religious agenda, at least not all. Look Lee Strobel, he was a dedicated Atheist who took the time to learn about the historicity of the Bible and Yeshua.

There are thousands of people who are sincere in their claims that they have been abducted by aliens, yet their claims have never been substantiated. Sincerity is not the same as truth. If Ray Comfort is going to assert claims, he needs to provide empirical and rational evidence, not emotional blackmail or fear, as a reason to believe that the Christian god exists and that the claims of the Bible are true.

If I truly believe gravity doesn't work if I jump off a tall building I'd be wrong and shortly dead after trying it. Each of us has sinned against God when His commandments are broken. After breaking the law on speeding and getting caught there is a judgement against us. Eternity is more serious then that, and if we lie for example we will end up in hell.

@gabygsdh Let's try another example. A serial killer kills a 4 year old child. The child's parents were atheists and the child had never heard of Jesus. The serial kill is caught and sent to prison. While in prison, the killer accepts Jesus and repents his sins. As i understand, the killer would go to heaven and the child would burn in hell for eternity. This doesn't seem very just to me.

Earth is (Or was) a paradise and it will be restored to that same place soon. Going to hell is a bad way to scare people into the belief that you promote.
Look at Ecclesiastes 9:5 to see what it reads about dead people. Doesn't mention hell there or anywhere else in any of the 66 books of the bible.
