Reducing Lawns With Small Gardens

My grass allergies are awful so I think just getting rid of the grass would be the best option for me. Plus who likes mowing every week all spring summer and fall, not me.

I love her garden; i read about it in Cottage Garden magazine, i believe. It is also in many garden books. Her garden made me feel better about getting rid of my own lawn! :)

Wow.. thanks! I would give anything not to be mowing 5 acres every week... what about native varieties? I would love to turn my grounds over to flowering varieties which benefit wild life. Thanks for posting!
