I like the versatility of the Reverso 3 over the ATC. At $35, I'll get one. But I also like the Mammut Smart Alpine Belay Device.

@RickM1953 black diamond makes an "ATC Guide". Its essentially identical to the reverso, but slightly cheaper ($25 last I saw). At least for me (a climber with a few budgetary constrictions) the Guide is a better option to the reverso

the music starting 0:47 is scary

it never runs that fast with a 10.2 rope
at least I've never been able to take slack that quickly, not with a reverso3 and neither with a guide
