  • I am speechless....this is bloody brilliant!!!

Is there a place where I could get hold of this version?

    Cheers!

  • Patrick Watson, thank you for making such a nice musical experience... Grey thanks for taking it to a new level of perfection. Simply amazing!

  • Dem tits.

  • I'm guessing he started out playing bass considering how he positions his right hand.

  • @TheStarlessAeon

I cant say iv seen too many people using their thumb to hit the low E or in this case G either

  • beautiful, well done.

  • Hey do you have any sheet music for this?

  • Loving this man. Great style, great harmonies. Superior vocal control as far as volume and tone go. Very well done.

  • Oh God!

    This is amazing.

I may even begin to cry..

    this was beautiful!

  • 1 person didn't build a home

  • Love this - I won't compare to the Patrick Watson version simply because I think this compliments it beautifully.

  • The original is an unbelievable song, and this version is equally as unbelievable. Fantastic, his guitar playing is brilliant. Anyone know who they are?

  • @TheLastCavendish This is The Cinematic Orchestra, playing with Grey Reverend :)

  • @JiMiStiX Thank you. I love him. I'm a man and I fucking love his god damn voice.

  • no dislikes :D

  • seriously hu is this guy :D

  • @gavinlowndes his name is 'Grey Reverend' Look up his music, if you like cinematic orchestra you'll love his stuff! :-)

  • @Moranag317 haa ive known that for ages now...he has some really amazing songs :)

  • This is Grey Reverend's version. Its amazing. When i saw The Cinematic Orchestra he came out and played this version.

  • I'm a big fan of Patrick Watson's version as well, but this is also very beautiful in it's own right

  • i disagree with the two previous comments. it's a different interpretation and I can feel that it comes from somewhere deep, very intense. thanks for sharing, it's beautiful.

  • I think what your rendition lacks is that sense of melancholia and of love lost evoked by the original. Great voices and playing but I'm afraid you lost the soul of the song.

  • @ArkQueue their amazing, why would u post a stupid comment

  • @dlggnation he never said they weren't amazing, he just said it lost it's original feel and I totally agree with him, it's great but it's nothing like the original

  • @ArkQueue I actually totally agree with you

  • sorry mate but I rather preffer watson's version
