I am trying to decide between this bike, the CRF230F and the CRF250R. Which of these would be best? I am 5' 6", I weigh about 155 pounds, but I won't be getting whatever bike I decide on for another few years. Which of these would be best in a few years time?

@BlargeMan don't get the 230. There good bikes, but you'll feel it's underpowered real quick. If you're gonna ride the track alot and trails a little, get the 250r. If you want to do alot of trails and some track time, get the X. Hope this helps.

@wandfreak13 3 ways to tell...1.if theres a fat pipe on the side of the bike hen its a 2 stroke. 2. sound. 3. if a bike has an F in its name (CRF250X) then its a 4 stroke.

@jeff76029jrm I'm not too sure what you're saying dude, but the CRF250X is a dirt bike, not a road bike for cruising around the city. You want a 'L' model for that.

The 'X' denotes that it's a bush bike - more suited to trail and enduro riding, if you're after a motocross bike you want an 'R'. The 250R would definetly be a bit quicker.

@gijerk619 It's electric and Kick-start. All the new Crf230F Crf250X & CRF450X all have electric, and the 250 & 450 also have kick, but the 230 doesn't.

@surfsup1552 not too bad but like any bike it does have issues after alot of use, iv found that the electric start will sometimes give out its happend twice to me and also i know this bike sometimes has valve issues but for the most part a solid bike. Also its fucking indestructable, iv crashed into trees and bent radiators and stuff and i picked it up and it fired right away
