  • It would look better without the bead head and sum puddy weight 8-10 inches from the fly, less snags on the bottom to... Verry cool how the black thread bleeds through the rabbit fur though! Thanks for sharing.

  • try this.. take a hook just like u were using...wrap on some peacock herl from back to front...tie it off, use epoxy to glue the coffee bean to the top of the hook..

    i use this for bluegill...

    and i made up a fly a few months ago that is similar to urs...i use hares ear dubbing and some gold wire....and olive thread...and i use some yarn to take up space on the hook..like u did..i caught atleast 60 bluegill on that fly..some were 8" some were 3"..haha, my gpa caught 6 with reg. pole

  • today i fished this pattern,only differense is i didnt have any rabbit fur but luckily i have a white fluffy cat,caught 1 brownie missed 4.awesome pattern!! works well in uk rivers
