Jusst wanted to stop by and say thank you for this video and great job!! I watch your video everytime I make the recipe. Though I don't always have all of the ingredients I can still make the substitutions and it still turns out great !! keep it up
Hey what happenned to the brandy? I flambe with the shells when I make mine. I also cook rice in the base as a thickener and then blend with the tomatoes, etc.
Thanks for responding so quickly! You never disappoint. I am using your coleslaw recipe today, but I´ve been obsessed with asian food lately. I tried your General Tso's chicken, and your Char Sui Pork. Any ideas for a new dish? I made Seafood Gyozas the other day, with shrimp and scallops. The recipe calls for Dashi, salty fish crumbs... and they were delish!
I made this for my wife for valentines day,and was great, but our lobster tales cost on average $80.00 a kilo, can i make it the same way using green king prawns. Thanks for your great recipes.
Mmmm, I have to cook this! Prolly have to skip brandy/wine part(or replace with something). Now, just to find out where to find those lobsters. It'll will be tricky I think.
As usual, it looks amazing Michael. But I have one question... Are you short on pots? :) Me and my wife was enjoying mostly the part with the steamer :)
I know I said amazing when I watched your beef short ribs video a few hours ago, but this right here is truly amazing! I would eat the entire pot. It also is quite an expensive recipe from what I see (lobster tails here are ridiculously priced, and yours looked huge), but I'm definitely planning on making this after I graduate from school in a few years =P
This looks sooo good. Do you have any leftovers? I can be there in a couple of hours, haha. I've never made bisque myself. I love lobster, but I think this would also be good with shrimp...
There would be nothing wrong about using shrimp, it would be just as good in my opinion.
Mary, I must tell you that I have not forgotten about your pasta request, it will happen someday because it does sound good and requests that sound good always get made :)

Yes, I know about rice as a thickening agent, and the brandy did go in.
I made a more simple version, and did not mean to disappoint you.
