  • All these haters mad that the tundra will always be on top

  • Obviously the Toyota is going to win. It is lower and has better street wheels rather than the Dodge that is higher and has non on -road traction wheels. 20$ if the dodge has the same wheels and ride height as the Toyota and if the dodge maybe has al little more weight, it would be a good pull or maybe the dodge would even win

  • MEXICO YEAH! dodge. cheap labor that took youeerrr jobs

  • ill put my 6.0 up against your tundra

  • The Toyota wasn't tougher just smarter!! My 96 4 banger ranger could have moved the dodge too! Soon as the tires starting spinning you have no traction!

  • well the tundra is on street tires and the dodge is on a/t's and weighs less.....its obvious....he dodge does however have more hp...not sure about torque....hp isnt everything

  • well, using a chain in a truck pull is always a bad idea. chain pop= shattered back glass and fucked up tailgate,

  • This is happening ..damn rednecks

  • damn wasn't even close lmao

  • toyota is bout the same as nissan...shouldnt even be a truck....after lookin at this vid, maybe dodge shouldnt either, only dodge worth a damn is a cummins

  • wtf man the dodge lost wtf lol

  • nastycummings01 haha the tundra would still kick your ass

  • damn that shit cray! i didnt think it was gonna work out that way, very nice!

  • good looking tundra

  • Son. Of. A. Bitch.

  • NastyCummings01 my powerstroke will eat your cummings for lunch and then about 4 more

  • its all about traction. The day i see a tundra pull 26,000 pounds across a mountain pass in the middle of summer is the day i die

  • Why is he tryin to make that gas burner dodge look like a cummins.

  • its about traction you idiots

  • That was kinda not evenly matched. That's a 2001 Ram vs. a 2008+ Tundra? Weights are different, engines are different, even rear ends are different. If you want to prove something, the competition has to be compariable. That could be a V6 Dodge for all we know, of course V8 would win.

  • @NastyCummings01, something tells me that you have a penis the size of my girlfriends clit...

  • wtf now

  • im surprised they didn't take a brake to refuel in the middle of it.

  • TEXAS BABY!

  • RAM get owned

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • Driver in the Toyota played it smart. Sat on his brakes until the Dodge was spinning his wheels, then it floored it. The Dodge had no traction, no chance. I wouldn't say Toyota is better, just played the game wiser.

  • ok im not a dodge fan but totally un fair the toyota is crew cab the dodge is lifted and reg cab

  • Toyota Tundra COOL!!!

  • dont use chains

  • Ya right

  • "YEEEEEEEEEEEEAHHHHH YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAHAHAHAHAHA YEEAAAAAHHAHAHHAHHAAA."

  • you stupid faggots with the "I GOT A CUMMINS DIESEL, ILL EAT THAT SHIT UP!' shut the fuck up. Its gas vs gas not gas vs diesel you little shits. You guys are just made that the japanese competitors are on a rise.

  • see what happens inexperience truck puller..... soon as them tires starts pullin your done!!!

  • i dont care about power but when it comes down to it the tundra has great power for towing anything. i just sold my silverado. and im buying another one only because i cannot afford a toyota. they hold their value unlike the cheap chevy and dodges. ford actually holds their value too a little more. doge does not hold value at all i wonder why. and then we go into reliability, lol can you even step near toyota reliability.thats coming from a detroit guy we own the big 3. once you go yota thats it

  • i would never own a dodge truck or a toyota, but i wouldnt have thought an asian made truck would win!

  • That was BS dodge wasent in 4WD!!! You bring that P.O.S. Tundra my way my 01 Cummins will eat it for lunch and have no left overs for dinner!!

  • @NastyCummins01 Your 2001 dodge (yes, you got it right using lower case) will break in about 10 pieces within seconds as my Tundra (yes, you again got that right) pulls your ass across the country. Don't pull this bs to get a free ride unless you pay for the gas, ass wipe!

  • @NastyCummins01 you want to pull a gas job with ur diesel... common... my girlfriends dirty max would pull ur dodge down the street. dodge sucks

  • @NastyCummins01 whats ur 01 got in it? jw cause i got a 01

  • @NastyCummins01 Nope, even 4wd wouldn't have overcome that difference.

  • @NastyCummins01 u mad cause toyota is a better car company ?

  • @NastyCummins01 The Ram driver didn't have the common sense to put his truck in 4wd before a towing competition. If I get in a fistfight, and I tie one arm behind my back and get an ass whipping, I still got an ass whipping. Chalk one up for Tundra due to driver stupidity.

  • @NastyCummins01 hey assclown it's wasn't not "wasent" you piece of shit and i bet that cummins sucks, in fact i bet you don't even own it the bank does.

  • @NastyCummins01 yer a moron,.... the dodge is a 4wd admit it, dodge lost a fair fight.

  • @NastyCummins01 Cummins sucks

  • @NastyCummins01 Cummins sucks

  • Smart people buy Toyota...dumb ones buy Dodge! Enough said!!

  • yes someone understands

  • Clearly the tundra is using 4x4 and the dodge isn't according what they said but the dodge is just a v8 so who cares if it were a diesel though

  • CHEVY CAN GET FUCKED!

  • my 99 eclipse will pull anyone of those anyday :P lol

  • @scotth0531 Well I'll tell you what, I wouldn't mind getting a Tundra, as has already been mentioned before the Tundra is very much an American made vehicle. I't's made with 80% domestic parts and it's made right here in America. So yeah I'd buy one, especially after watching this one drag that shitty ass Dodge down the street. Dodge Rams are made with only about 50% American parts btw.

  • @JonnyCashmore You know, this whole thing about jappy made vehicle being more reliable is a crock of shit. Every time I see somebody get on it in one of those rice burners I see black smoke, blue smoke, it smells like ass, makes a lot of noise and doesn't go anywhere fast. Domestics are more reliable, last longer, and run better.

  • @ssimon64 I suggest you quit driving in reverse. The smoke will clear and the air will vastly improve. Can't help the noise because your engine is too close to your cab. Get you a nice Toyota Tundra and your problems will all go away.

  • @scotth0531 um... the only reason the toy pulled the dodge was because it is lower to the ground and weighs more. the only way to really compare the two would be to have a truck pull and see which one gets further. stop bein such a fuckin commy.

  • @MrSilverback180 Commy? First off, go back and watch the video. I did not place the bet or make the challenge. I just took the dodge driver's challenge. I have owned dodges, lots of them. Just got tired of waiting for parts to be mailed from overseas to get back on the road. No bs, I had two dodge trucks because one was always in the shop and I needed to get my Sea Ray to the lake. Never Ever has any Tundra that I have owned been in the shop except to get the oil changed. Just sayin'

  • @MrSilverback180 Your misunderstanding laws of physics. The lower profile of the tundra would pull down on the back of the dodge, putting more weight on it. The dodge would have lifted the back of the tundra. I agree that a truck pull type of even would be the better way to test... but in ANY case, the 2x4 of the dodge and the 4x4 of the tundra would make the biggest difference, and the tires would make a big difference as well, Had the dodge been in 4x4, might have been a different story :)

  • @ssimon64 Don't you mean Mexican built trucks are more reliable than "Made in America"? I'm just hoping when you say "Domestics" you are referring to the Toyota (at least 80% American parts and manufactured in the States) not the Dodge (around 60-70% American parts, Made in Mexico)

  • @royaloreca Yes, I know Toyota trucks are made in America. We are in agreement. see my other comments.

  • @royaloreca finally someone else that knows there shit about "domestic" vehicles

  • @royaloreca ur fag for being racists

  • @ssimon64 Are you kidding?? LOL hell a Ford caught fire in my works parking lot last month!!

  • @0rginaI Well the trick with Ford is you gotta get one that was made before 1998. That the year ford stopped making real trucks and started making... Whatever the hell it is they're making now.

  • Fucking shitbox dodge

  • ROFL! Is this what they do there for furnishings? That's hilarious!

  • Real easy... stand on your brakes and let the hot-shot light his tires. Then, pull his ass down the street backwards and make him look like the punk he is.

  • AGAIN!!!

Unless your 97 Dodge is a diesel you might out-pull the ford. The following are results of Dyno testing. Keep in mind these results are at the wheel, not at the transmission. All vehicles loose power in the drive train.

2007 Tundra 5.7L 303 HP 302FTLBS Torque At the wheel

    2009 Dodge 1500 5.7L 269HP 259FTLBS

    2007 Ford F-150 193HP 264FTLBS

    2009 Chevy 1500 6.2L 290HP 285FTLBS

    2009 Chevy 1500 5.3L 225HP 221FTLBS

    2002 Dodge 1500 5.9L Gas V8 202HP 244FTLBS

  • lol you can see the tundra has way more weight in the back, loses traction too fast in the dodge :/

  • YAY!!! YOUR GETTING NEW COUCHES!!

  • how to beat that tundra ... dont hit your throttle so hard i knew the dodge was gonna lose he doesnt know shit about tug of wars or how traction works

  • tundras will not always win neither will dodge, chevy, or ford thats why people do truck pulls its different with every individual truck or setup

  • And you can't compare gas trucks and diesel trucks....

  • TUNDRAS all day!!!

  • ey, Yo! Get sum new tires!

  • jacked up trucks aint got for pulling. if it was stock against stock, thats where the test is. also the driver of the dodge just kinda stomped on it and hoped for the best. not good.

  • beautiful dodge way to keep the rims dodge

  • I knew toyota I was better

  • Tundra is the fucking best!!!

  • to the guy that says his ford is better. FORDS SUCK. ill never buy one of those crappy trucks again

  • @landiskid15 yheap

  • Gravity helped the Tundra since it's sitting lower to the ground than the Dodge.

  • that body style of Dodge is high geared

  • that dodge owner should have known better...those toyotas ar heavy and have a solid stance on the ground with lockers all around (if i remember right they came standard with that) and plus the toyota is rated the same as a 2500hd i think so shame shame on the dodge for thinking his much lighter 1500 would pull it. Power plays a big role in pulling but so does traction!

  • So scotth0531 what exactly do you drive? A "manly" vehicle or the vw bug?

  • @MissFPR2012 That would be a manly Tundra. One that pulled the shit out of that dodge. What do you drive? Smart car???

  • Yes scotth0531 it should be gas against gas. But my point was that a bad driver can throw a win to a better driver any day. A dodge diesel's engine will last forever while other parts break, malfunction or snap as you said, but that's normal wear & tear. My truck is 13 years old & the only thing that has gone significantly wrong was a month ago the alternator went out. Now you can tell me all you want that see something went wrong but it took 13 years for something to go wrong I will accept that

  • @MissFPR2012 Well I trade TWO dodge trucks for my Tundra. No lie. Didn't get much and one just made it to the dealership before it crapped out. Neither gave me engine problems but I had to have TWO because one was ALWAYS in the shop. That was not my experience neither truck was even 10 years old.

  • 4x4 can do anything...

  • its not the truck that failed it was the driver. i give props to whoever was driving the tundra.

  • simple math that dodges weight is in the air and supported by high ass sprindgs that tundra was sitting low and had the traction advantage now if the dodge was sitting normal height like the tundra i would have put my money on dodge all day

  • Dodge is a piece of shit they are poorly made trucks not just because of this video

  • Dodge is a piece of crap not just because of this video

  • 1:00 I just saved you one minute of your life.

  • Hey, the dodge is in the air... you need some weight on that trunk to ground it

  • Dodges suck period

  • scotth0531 I may be a girl but I have been driving trucks since before I got my license. (thats what happens when you grow up on a ranch). My comment about the truck not being diesel was meant to point out the fact that if people really want to test this theory that a Toyota is stronger than a dodge, they really need to test it against a diesel. Of course it was the dodge owner who challenged the toyota therefore the point was proven, but dont bag on dodges over this one idiot owner.

  • @MissFPR2012 If you are going to do a "test" as you say, it should be gas against gas. I may be a city boy, but I am smart enough to know that a diesel should win against a gas powered engine. That is, if nothing else breaks on the truck! There lies your problem, while the diesel may last a long time, something else will probably break, snap, or malfunction on that dodge!

  • @scotth0531 in my own expierience the engine can only do so much without proper traction. if you look at most of these tug-o-war video's that is usually the deciding factor.

  • @scotth0531 Tell that to my uncle who has had his 2nd gen dodge for ever, and just broke 350k on stock drivetrain...

  • the dodge broke traction thats why he lost... a tug of war is about traction and the dodge lost in that respect he wasnt out pulled

  • @joshdonaldwhitbourn and thats because it was'nt it 4wd and that the dodgelift kit worked against it, sure its great for off roading but the tundra can get more traction

  • the other truck was to light lol.

  • wish a Ford or a Chevy could still last ten years like they should

  • tundras a 4 wheel drive truck though...

  • @longboarding1992 Again, the dodge challenged the Tundra.

  • @scotth0531 my bad. i didnt read the description then lol.

  • @longboarding1992 and also the dodge is lifeted which causes it to lose quite a bit of pulling power too

  • If the dude drivin the dodge wouldnt have stomped it right off and let the yotas tires start spinnin he would have had it i think. That dodge is heavier if it was a 2500

  • @scotth0531 yep and yes, I was talking about the Dodge

  • Its the idiotic suspension on the Dodge. The Dodge has much higher torque and horsepower, but the moron rednecks like to jack them high enough to climb a fence

  • That wasn't even far for the tundra, and it still won! :D

  • Grape is so sour!

  • We have a 04 Toyota Tundra TRD 4x4. With 240,000kms on it. The only time it was in the shop besides oil chnages, was for for brake pads. :/

  • i love shit fests haha your just as bad as the mustang and camaro drivers. btw nice trucks. i drive a 2004 nissan titan se king cab offroad package. i love the truck 122,000 and still runs like its brand new. No hate on my part haha btw fuck ford

  • i love shit fests haha your just as bad as the mustang and camaro drivers. btw nice trucks. i drive a 2004 nissan titan se king cab offroad package. i love the truck 122,000 and still runs like its brand new. No hate on my part haha btw fuck ford

  • Th dodg is way lighter

  • Tundras are pretty bad ass trucks...i didnt believe it till i started driving them for work...used to have dodges and i would never go back to driving a dodge unless it was a cummins

  • lol weak ass ram

  • Your dad is hilarious! Gotta love toyotas

  • There the affect of lifting your truck.

  • for some reason, i think this is really happening.

  • Fuckin hicks..

  • toyota didn't even fuckin move dodge sucks

  • This is a matter of physics not power lol, traction wins.

  • Guy in the dodge shouldn't have hit the throttle so hard, wheelspin did him in.

  • put some fuckin weight in the back of that Dodge then see who pulls who!!! thats a fact!

  • @freakzilla10 LOL, you could have put an elephant in the back of that dodge. Excuses, excuses. Just like a dodge driver!

  • @scotth0531 No Excuses just facts! not saying much for the driver but i know what them Dodges can do! kinda hard pulling something when theres no weight in MOST of them trucks.

  • +1 Tundra. lol nice

  • the lower truck always win. but dodge sucks

  • Hahaha... not what I was expecting. Good job!

  • @cstmx156 and topped off with taco sauce in Mexico

  • @doctorfeelucky Yep, came with the dodge

  • poor dodge so useless

  • the higher one will win... always NVM... lol

  • the higher one will win... always

  • Doesn't count the dodge is gas. You want a real test of a dodge versus tundra you need to have a dodge ram w\ a cummins. In this case the tundra has a bigger engine, no shit its going to out pull the dodge. My truck would be a better candidate for this contest, because I drive a bigger truck than both of these boys. My 99 dodge ram cummins turbo diesel 24 valve, will out pull a tundra any day of the week actually it would pull both of these trucks. And dont try to argue with me I have done it!

  • @MissFPR2012 Doesn't count because the dodge runs on gas? What an idiot! What the hell do you think the Toyota uses? Get in your little vw bug and get off this site for men!

  • @scotth0531 umad?

  • The Tundra won only because the Dodge is lifted. Jackasses.

  • Bitch Truck Dodges, and Fords.

    Toyota's alldayeveryday!

  • #1 problum, he spun his tires out.....stupid ass lol.

  • @scotth0531 thats the problem with americans today thinking that just because an imported car is made in america means it helps america more. Thats total bull cuz obviously buying from chevy or an american company will help america more since the company is based in the U.S.A. also i bet most of the people making those tundras in texas are illegal immigrants... just sayin

  • @MadeNAmerica1997 Well, 90% of those employees making that chevy are living and working in Mexico and China, dumbass! Just sayin'

  • @scotth0531 you obviously didnt read the full comment. GM made in mexico, money comes to the US. toyota made in the US, money goes to japan. Just sayin

  • @rangerRZR1 Tundra puts American factory workers to work and money in their pockets. They also pay taxes on that income that stays in the US. GM puts mexicans and other foreign factories to work and that money stays in other countries. So to call any truck an American truck and that if you buy a GM, Ford, or Dodge that the money stays here, you don't know shit about shit! Just sayin'

  • @scotth0531 okay i do agree that it is good that americans have jobs from toyota. and that GM is make in mexico. but thats beside the point i was trying to make. the higher % of all of the money toyota makes does NOT stay here. and the higher % of GM or Ford DOES stay here. a small amount of toyotas money goes to their factory workers and such. same with GM or Ford. but the majority of it goes to the country that owns it. im not trying to start a fight. im just stating facts.

  • @rangerRZR1 Great! Ok, so if you are stating facts, show how much money stays here in America to American workers and then how much goes to Japan. If you have those numbers, which I am sure you don't, then do the same for GM. I am not trying to start a fight either but I believe you are doing a lot of assuming. Show the numbers and the document to back what you are stating. I bet you find that it is about the same.

  • @scotth0531 i honestly dont have the facts. i have been researching and i cant seem to find much on that topis from either company's. if i do find numbers ill let you know. but im just saying if you think about it. major company's make alot of money. they do have to pay quite a bit of money to their workers. but you are right this is just an assumption, it makes sense that the company's keep more than at least 50% of their profit in their own country.

  • @rangerRZR1 See, I don't think you have your facts straight. If that were the case, you would see much more advertising reflecting that scenerio. When is the last time you have seen a manufacture advertise "Buy American". You might see some local dealers occassionally state that but in reality, no one can. Payroll is the most expensive part of any manufactures costs so that is why I believe you don't see that claim. Also, if you were correct, the facts would easily be found.

  • @scotth0531 okay so far i have found that most of GM's profit is going to the U.S to pay back for the bailout of 2009 which is estimated to be fully payed for by 2015. however if americans buy less GM cars than that would be impossible. and some say that it appears if ford's profit goes up ang GM's goes down, it is possible that ford may help them out in this debt. and GM is also opening markets in latin america as well as asia to keep profits up. this is what i found so far

  • @rangerRZR1 Ok, but that is not the answer to my question. First of all, why should the tax payers bail out GM. That has nothing to do with which company keeps more money in the USA. They should pay back and because they did not have a sound business plan, that got them into the position they are in. I think GM will come out of this bailout soon and wish them well. Now, how much money is kept in the US vs other countries on each vehicle sold. Again, you probably will not find this number.

  • @scotth0531 just sayin

  • The dodge has a lift kit and is a long box regular cab. No weight= no traction.

  • Tundras look mean as fuck. Just sayin.

  • dodge sucks

  • it aint the trucks its the drivers...

  • Fuck yea get some Toyota kicks ass dodge smd

  • I drive a Ford. Who would pull your tundra all the way back to dock to take it back to japan. My truck is built with wrenches, not chopsticks.

  • @cstmx156 Keep believing. At least you have that! My Tundra is made right here in the great state of Texas.

  • wow this really shows how good a truck.. pfft

  • @scotth0531 lol yeah they just ship the money over

  • @scotth0531 haha made by drunk mexican immigrants i guess he was a little off with japan

  • @scotth0531 The Toyota Tundra, which by the way is built in Texas, is the most American made truck on the road. FACT.

  • @cstmx156 Well your Ford would probably break down and need a new ignition coil pack on the way to Texas. Not Japan. The Tundra tends to the American market so it's made here. Show me a Ford anything with 500,000 miles on it.If you do it probably spends more time in the shop than on the road.I don't care if it's made in Taiwan,I want reliability.I bought new a Ford 6.8L V10 truck and the wheel bearing went out on the way home from the dealership. That was only the beginning
