Yes there are multiple ways to solve a scramble - you claim to know your way around the cube, but you forget an important factor. ALGORITHMS. When any algorithm is repeated any number of times - the same pieces are moved around the cube - eventually returning to their starting positions. If he can memorize key pieces (placement, orientation, permutation) he can perform SIMPLE algorithms X amount of times to get any piece where he wants it.10 hours of memorization, entirely possible.

-Backwards

-He isn't completly blindfold

-He is always doing one by one or two by two, a stop the video and do another one... then he correct the vid on his computer...
