What drives me crazy is the fact that most people who hate Franken do so just for the fact that he's a liberal who makes fun of conservatives. Either that or they don't understand the meaning of his satire. And also, for anyone saying that he's not funny or not a good comedian, that one ad was just quick, cheap humor that could fit in Letterman's show. Not to mention his work with SNL (as a writer, mostly), his books, and his radio show.

Al Franken can make a good Senator or President. It takes intelligence, wisdom about human emotions and a sense of giving to the people to have a sense of humor. Besides he is a political comedian -- it's like a movie critic becoming a movie director/producer.
