  • bitch better eat that apple

  • well, ehow isnt as stupid as expertvillage :) thumbs up if u agree

  • I dont like the way you handled that precious Apple...just warning you.

  • Grate Video. But how do you grow a tree from a apple that do not have seeds?

Is a summer Apple tree that grow here in S. Cal and has no seeds. Please help me.

    Thank you

  • it doesn't need to dry, my friend just put the seed in the soil and after 4 days it sproused!

  • sooo what your saying is

johnny appleseed got apple seeds and waited 2 mounths for them to dry, then watered them and dryed them and did all that?

  • no wonder my fucking apple tree never grew...

  • My 2 apple sprouts have gone wrong they are a cm tall but white with no leaves

  • if it is a gmo..(termination seed) no apple tree 4 u..lol

  • i hope she ate that apple...

  • Germinate, 2 months, drying seeds wtf! I'm just going to dig a hole and throw a seed in it.

  • This is the long way to do it. Buy a tree to plant.

  • apple trees grow from apple seeds lol

  • 0:07 Thanks! I always wondered where an apple tree comes from!

  • Any seeds planted will be a totally different tree than its parent. I have apple trees on my place I have grown just by seed for deer, but are unedible to people. However, seed grown trees make AWESOME root stock for grafting on another variety, granny smith, etc. So dont take it hard the seeds produce poor fruit, just think posative as to the varieties of apples the tree can be when grafted.

  • Thanks this video is very informative and I just put my seeds in the fridge so wish me luck that they germinate.

  • what shes not telling you is that even if you do get an apple tree from the planting it will never be the same as the apple you got it from. she also never said that there is a 70 percent chance the tree wont bear any fruit at all. and if it does you have to wait at least 6 years! grafted trees are guaranteed to be the same apple and are fruit bearers in 2 years! this stuff is just for fun i guess but she makes it look hard.

  • @salamonetalton

You are right. However, many famous types of apples like Granny Smith, Golden Delicious or Breaburn are chance seedlings and were found growing on a compost pile or a wayside. So there is still a small chance that you can grow great new apple hybrids by this method. ;-)

  • to much work. i give up

  • how do i keep it wet all the time if you cant soak them

  • i love this vid..very informative..i'm gonna try it..hope it works cause i live in saint lucia.

  • i opened a granny smith apple and the seeds were already sprouting

  • wow

well i guess maybe i got a lucky break?

all i did was let the seeds germinate in a cup with wet napkins, and it started sprouting in like a week :]

    is this bad???

  • @DJTKproductionz heck no! thats the best way to do it. sometimes i dunno why i click on these videos...

  • @DJTKproductionz this fat lady wants to make it look hard but i also throw some of my apple seeds in a small place with sand and in less than a week it germinated and in 2 more weeks its about 15 cm long, but i also know this one is spacial (:

  • i just opend a apple and i saw 2 that are geting ruts

  • its better to just buy the seed from a seed company, that way if it doesn't grow they'll usually replace the seeds. and some have the germination % on them..

by doing it that way there is a pretty good chance that the polination is the same tree..

  • dont listen to her. just throw the whole apple in the garden in the winter and you will have apple trees

  • And if i put imediatly in soil without frig. now in spring after 2 moths i don't see nothing..

  • mephy777 thanks son!

  • dont expect the seeds to be true to there parent tree because apple trees need cross polination and you dont know what tree it had sex with lol so the best way to get the variety you want is buy one already grafted on to a rootstock.

  • hi im 14 and i started germinating seed fresh right out of the apple and 2 days later my seeds have started to germinate (like sprouting roots). and i also thought that the older the seed is the longer it takes to germinate

  • thanks for your comment i wouldnt have wanted to wait 2 months and ive already got a little sprout thankyou

  • @mephy777 so did you just put it in the pot or did you put it in the fridge

  • @danecooktz okay i samwiched it between a damp coffee filter. and taped it to my window. ( its tinted black, 15%) i already its already made a small plant in my backyard. its getting big faster than i thought it would, around 4 feet now. but the thing was, only one seed made it out of 6. ;) so good luck
