@Rettungsliegerfan I think it's the music from the movie "Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines", same name. No idea who performed it. Wouldn't swear to it on a stack of Bibles, but........
thanks i've lived in Whipton for most of my life i hadn't a clue about this, mind you they only taught us about the Romans,&the battle of hastings. We weren't allowed to know history about less than 300 yards from your home that is sad. thanks again
Wow! I didn't know Exeter was involved in an air race. Brilliant video and cool photos too. They should do something to celebrate it 100 year birthday soon.
I exhuasted the Universal newsreels that haven't already been posted. There is a YouTube page called Universal Newsreels. So I'm picking up the slack with other odds and ends that I run across and add material to fill in the blanks since most have no description or even identify the aircraft type
