@poptropica121 The IR LED won't transmit light to the photodetector if it's not in sight. IR IS light.

@CognosSquare You hook an oscilloscope up to the remote and get it that way. You can also make a little program for an Arduino to do it that way.

Moar info pls. How does one capture the IR signal from the remote?
Did that need a custom program or does arduino come with support for that?
Can you do a project that involves arduino + sending or receiving an SMS of some data. Is possible?
