i have started to use that contrast method for a while on my films that are sonn to be released, camera could still sue work but overall very good.

@DangerousCheezy yes, its a professional method all directors should do. decrease the brightness to suit your style (i dont recommend too much), and increase the contrast to the point where you a sort of filmy glow or metallic look onscreen. This will enhance the value of your footage.
