Best song on the album, bar none! Shows that Miz Liza has some soul power in that gorgeous voice of hers! A great version, produced by the legendary producer Tommy "Snuff" Garrett. Marvin Hamlisch did the vocal arranging. thank you for this!
@grooverunner not a weak song on this great lp"The Singer"...would have been a huge commercial hit if played on the radio but programming jerks though it wasn't "cool" to play Liza Minnelli...what airheads as many are still enjoying this classic set all these years later and the crap they pushed is largely forgotten like most music today ...great music has lasting power!
YES! I was so pleasantly surprised to find this gem -- of which I was previously unaware -- on a recent purchase of the compilation disc "LIZA MINNELLI: When It Comes Down To It: 1968-1977."
love this version, but for me the rhythm section is WICKED....What a groove.

Enjoying this new found gem. Beautiful clear voice and you can understand
everyword she sings, unlike most of the trash out today.
