@ZNKChannel I grew up with the show when it first started. In fact, I'm four years older than the show. (Sesame Street) which first aired I THINK in November of 1969.
Whole heartedly agree with Kermit.. some of my favorite moments are when they muppets arent' trying to be funny.. in fact i'd say more than some of my favorite moments are the more somber and "unfunny" ones
@FLPman Anytime someone TRIES to sound funny, it comes across as forced and therefore UNfunny. The best situations come from 'real' situations. Of course, when you're dealing with the Muppets, real is somewhat relative. The celeb interconnections are great though. They just wanna have fun and so it works.

How many guest stars have been on Muppets and Sesame Street? I know that about 120 of them were in the Muppets Show, but what about the amount on Sesame Street?
@caitlinjane92 You'll have to ask The Count. He'd LOVE to 'research' that question! For me, I can only guess.....couple hundred. Have you ever seen the celeb vid "Monster in the Mirror"? Celebs galore, including the Simpson's!
same here buddy. almost everytime i look for jim henson stuff on youtube i keep finding more and more new stuff jim did. Did he go too soon? yes, but from how much stuff ive found here on youtube i now know he gave the world plenty to remember him by.
It's so amazing to see this show again. I've had such vivid memories of these skits, and it's so awesome to be able to see them again. I've been taken back 25 years!
I loved the Harry Bellefontaine episode. Shows how a bunch of puppets can say something more meaningful and worthwhile than 90% of the stuff humans do with their time on TV.
Too bad that there are no clips here of Kermit flirting with all the female guest stars in the talk spot of The Muppet Show's 1st season! Muppet King Jim Henson was fascinated by The Music World- May he always rest in peace in heaven.
Yes, I saw him flirting with Cher. On The Muppet Show, 31 years ago back in the year 1976, Kermit in the talk spot also flitred with Actress' Connie Stevens, Rita Moreno, Candice Bergen, Ruth Buzzi, Florence Henderson, and Dancer Julliet Prowse- May she always rest in peace in heaven. Kermit also flirted with Actress Loretta Swit of MASH and Pop Singer Linda Rhondstadt as well!
Man I haven't watched this for years and I still remember every single bit of it.

@ZNKChannel Yes and no. It's a great association, but for a show to be in its 40's is great! Pretty amazing in fact. For people....not so great. ;)
