Oh wow!!! I am getting baptised this Sunday and I am so excited. I am a bit nervous though too. This may seem like a silly question, but did you bend you legs or keep them straight, it's jst that I want to actually come out of the water again lol, and our baptistry is quite deep!!

Well done, I am just finishing off writing my speech and choosing my songs now, oh... and counting down the hours. I'm 15 by the way!

It was brilliant, I will get the vid onto my pc and send it to you. I was really nervous but it was the best thing that had ever happened to me. I got a book called, 'My Utmost For His Highest - adapted for students' its like a years worth of readings, ou might want to have a look out for it. I have only done one but it is very good.

ive only just started going to a baptist church as i moved churches so it was all new to me

i didnt really know it existed before

but since going to my current church i saw my friends getting baptised and saw what it meant and decided it was the right thing to do and that i wanted to make that commitment

Being Christened isn't the same as being baptized. I was Christened when I was a baby but that wasn't my decision and it isn't actually biblical. Aside from that being baptized when your older, for me 17, was my own decision and at the the end of the day has to be as to whether you want to live for God or not. Agreeing with the above I knew I wanted to get baptized and make that commitment and after many prompts by God I was.

Typically, your dedicated to Christ, by your parents, when your a baby, and then when to come to the age of accountability and choose Christ for yourself, you're baptized.

I am a Christian, but I've never been baptized =( I want to be, though. Someday, soon.
