If you're a hairdresser, draw a Dobbshead on the back of some guy's head with an electric razor. If you do advertising, put a Dobbshead in every ad along with a subliminal message. If you're in computer programming, give software names like "Slackware", and advertise it with Dobbsheads. Or just decorate some public location, or get a "Bob" tattoo.

My brain can't accept that someone would go to such insane lengths for performance art, so I lean toward the idea that he's an actual candidate who's simply delusional, hypocritical and absurd. Despite myself, though, I now have a small nugget of doubt in the back of my mind saying - "Maaaybe. It's *possible*. Some people really are that ambitiously twisted..."

If this proves true, it would be the most awesome piece of satire (and the best prank) I've ever heard of.

By Occam's Razor, the simplest possible explanation is that Carl Paladino is simply "mad as hell", like he says all the time, and that this overriding madness eclipses everything. But he did rip off a slogan we've used on bumper stickers since the 1980s for his own yard signs, a clear case of copyright and trademark infringement. Rachel Maddow also used the copyright Dobbshead without permission but it's OK since I posted her copyright video here and 2 wrongs make a right.

If Rachael is right (sometimes she is) and this is nothing more than a piece of performance art, it ranks up there with some of the best I've ever seen. New York City is the biggest metropolitan area, Los Angeles is 2nd biggest, Chicago is 3rd, and San Francisco is down at #13, according to "Table of United States Metropolitan Statistical Areas" on Wikipedia. So yeah, Chicago's bigger than San Francisco, but New York City will always be #1.
