I do SMR because I know it works, but when people ask me what I am doing and why I don't know what to tell them (succinctly). What does SMR accomplish?
What are the tradeoffs (besides price) if I go with the shorter roller compared to the longer one? Are there certain stretches that can't be done on the shorter one that can be done on the longer one?
Thank you for the review, Doctor. How does RR compare to the Trigger Point's Grid Roller? To my untrained eye, Rumble looks more painful and I am very seriously considering getting it.
@sxyynggrl4u I have the blue one, it's a tad softer than the black but not much difference.. The black one really hurts.. and so as the blue one. I suggest getting the blue one. It works well.
I got mine in the mail the other day. I ordered it from Amazon. I purchased the blue one. It is absolutely amazing! It feels so heavenly on my back. The first thing I do with it everyday is run my back down it on the ground and my back crunches and crackles! It feels so good!
Thanks Dr. Perry! I just bought a foam roller today (a flat one), but I also preordered the ultimate version of P90X2 today. It comes with the rumble roller. Funny, but I figured I would need to work up to that one, so I was glad to hear you say that! ;-)
@ZavislakFitness That's what I was thinking, too (have to work up to this bad mamma jamaa)...which is why I am watching some reviews. It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye! :)
This is one of the most effective ways I've found to get tough knots out!

Save money and have your friend run you over with knobby tires on a dirt bike. That looks scary!

Do you recommend the blue or black one for a 140lb girl that exercises 5 days a week?
Thank you,
Katie
