  • Nice footage. Is the eagle part of the same footage, or was that a separate incident, like it looks like?

  • I've seen and heard reports of a lone coyote taking down a buck deer.. why is it so complicated for them to take down the mother deer and her young?

  • Shit i got so much deer on my land i am glad i hear coyotes hope they get a few darn :)

  • im cofused did the fawn or the doe die

  • @hunter123456789o The fawn laid down in some tall grass and I didn't see it get back up. I left so I don't know the final outcome, sorry.

  • salty pro ?? awful camera work

  • @leeboyoio I wish I could disagree but I know it could be better. When filming wildlife they don't let you get set up.I was disappointed when I first watched it myself. Just trying to get a shot before they all ran off. I stumbled across these animals in action. If I had been set up and waiting it would have been better. sorry

  • @saltypro it's fine, you saw an amazing event-this isnt a set up-no one expects perfection, except that guy.

  • you guys are idiots you guys would rather save a dumb deer to starve the coyotes you idiots will get in trouble for killing them

  • herbivors can kick some ass, look at cape buffalo, they take out lions on a regular basis.

there's a video on here-"mother giraffes revenge" a female giraffe stomps the shit out of a lioness-BAD !

  • If you shoot anything and don't eat it you suck also coyotes unlike humans can't take whichever buck they want. Big strong animals aren't taken by Coyotes they kill the weaker ones assisting the evolution of the deer. Also Coyotes are mans best friend and an important part of the ecosystem, by shooting them you are showing no respect to the ecosystem as whole and therefore the deer and if you don't respect the animals then you aren't worthy of hunting you deserve to eat processed shit.

  • @TheSeriousG

Ecosystems. Didn't we leave ecosystems a long time ago because of winter and getting eaten by predators in a manner much like that?

  • My .257 roberts would clear out those coyotes in no time

  • The mother deer is keeping the fawn down so she can protect it. If it get's up and runs the coyotes will have a better chance at it.

  • 0:18 mother deer paws baby to see if it's alive?

  • Ya it would have been fun to shoot the Dogs!

  • it would have been fun to pick them dogs off

  • Ah nature at it's best, don't worry at the rate we humans treat shit we also will be fighting to survive.

  • Deers and other heribivors are generally very underestimated due to their habit to choice flee rather then fight most of the times

this clip just shows how formidable an simpel deer can be !

it was also said that more zookeepers are wounded by heribivors then by carnivors

    due to underestimating them

  • where was this filmed? at least tell us

  • those are some big goddamn yotes! shoulda shot em

  • i work on a ranch in Idaho with MANY mulies around, and i see yippies evry day about 2 maybie 3 times a day and I have NEVER seen a mule deer take sutch protective actions, thats pretty shocking. I personaly use a charles daily 243. with a 100gr bullet and i have it sighted in at 700 yards, yes... YARDS if i can see the yippie i can kill it. :D

  • great vid' by the way.

painful to watch only because you see the underdog, and that she really cant do enough to defend her fawn, that is sad, but again it's life in the wild.

I know it's her fawn, but suprised at a deer really trying to fight them off thats amazing as well.

  • what a bunch of scum sucking dirt licking desert mongrels. i'll kill any coyote i can, maybe the bird hunting will get better here in northern utah. can't believe there's actually a coyote farm up here!

  • This is very typical of how animals die in the wild. The clip does not show more of the deer and coyote episode because this process can take 72 hours or more befor the animal is biten to death. Great for tree huggers to see. They critisize hunters for killing an animal in 30 seconds or less. Hey, maybe we ought to arrest all the coyotes in the world. Or better yet put all animal in cages and zoos so we can protect them from each other! Gee, was Bambi really just a cartoon?

  • dont get me wrong cuz im a hunter but poor deer. should of shot the yotes.

  • sagecreeps

  • man it looks like it totally destroyed one of them

but awsome footage too bad u cudnt take a shot at any of em

  • Dude! what's your address, I'm mailing you my gun!

  • Nice footage. Too bad you don't have the end of the standoff between the coyotes and the deer posted.

I normally can't find decent quality video of coyotes hunting larger prey. Keep up the good work.
