@UMfan20 6 wins only makes you bowl ELIGIBLE. There is no guarantee that you will get a bowl invite even with 6 wins. Hell even with 12 wins. You still have to be invited.
That being said we are Michigan and football royalty. So yes with 6 wins we will be playing in a bowl. But he was right not assume, which I bet is what the coaches told them before going out.

The 6th win was huge. Not for being eligible to a bowl but it was the defense that won the game on the last play. Hail to the Victors!
