  • muy bueno me parecio super original

    "but only hands small"

  • Is that prelude in C# minor op3 no 2?

  • Ooohhh yes.

  • yes.

  • amazing! the best.

  • The funniest routine since Victor Borge. Thanks for uploading.

A propos of the title on this clip, if you visit Boston you can see a plaster cast of Liszt's hands, at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Fenway Park.

  • LOL

funniest thing I have seen in "serious" music in ages.

Only hands small---hmmmm wonder if he's single?

Handsome, hung and talented and with a sense of humor!

    Who could resist???

    LOL

  • The best ever

  • Brilliant!

  • "but only hands small" lol

  • omg! poor Rachmaninov!and poor piano

  • too funny

  • Absolutely brilliant! And very well played (on many levels!)

  • that was so cool! ^_^

  • Thats a good way to get some serious chords :D

  • that was absolutely genius!! Favorited! LOVE IT!

  • AHAHHHAHAHHA THATS BRILLIANT!

  • LOL..............

  • hahaha! I haven't laughed so hard in ages!

  • he speaks 50%Korean and 50%American in this one

  • Yes. He speaks American.

    Hint: it's English.

  • lol excellent

  • haha so funny!

  • funny, but you stole the routine.

  • Stolen or not, I saw the original, and I believe that this one is far better. Not only does he actually play through the song, but they add a little extra bit of entertainment for the crowds sake with the 'bumbling' violinist. If anything, they didn't steal the act, but instead, improved it significantly.

  • Yep, this is actually funny, the other supposed original one IS NOT. Half the gags on recent sitcoms come from Seinfeld episodes. Whether it's still funny or not is the delivery!

  • you know they stole that idea from some guy

  • you don't necessarily need big hands to play most advanced classical piano. It's more about being dextrous and being able to move your fingers quickly and with good technique.

  • kiyowo!! Yo!!

  • amazing!

  • haha thats amazing :D

  • their are very funny guys , i like it that, check out, if you like the videos of music and and few funny you have to see that

  • Very clever! It gives those of us who have extremely short fingers hope that one day, we too can play the piano.

  • Hysterical! Ingenious!

  • Probably their funniest one yet! *****

  • the source of "inspiration" youtube/watch?v=_nWzC19Iq_c&NR=1

  • New from Igudesman & Joo:

    Looking for Mozart

  • that was friggin awesome

  • nice.i think they really take their time measuring the exact key.

  • dianne reeves

  • thanks... was just about to look for it.

    great piece.

  • That was so cool!!

  • great video

  • lol that was very cute <3

  • That is by far some of the funniest stuff I have ever seen. Absolutely hysterical. Clever and an instant classic.

  • man where are those boards when i need them?

  • hilarious

  • whats this song called

where do u get the music sheets

  • This PIECE is called Prelude Op. 3 No. 2 by Rachmaninov

  • thanks fats

  • Rachmaninoff C# minor prelude.

  • beautiful

  • HAHAHAHAH one of the funniest thing I've seen!! GREAT!!

  • only one word, GREAT!!!! :D

  • Cyberott, actually a few chords span several octaves and are to be played disjointed, or together using an elaborate idea such as this.

  • ROFLLL

  • lol i wonder if we can use those on pianos now lol

  • yeah my mum will die!

    yipie

  • you dont need big hands to play this! the largest stretch is a chordal octave. true, the last part with four staves LOOKS daunting, but its not too bad.

  • in the end it looks like he had a penis

  • Um, I'm pretty sure he DOES have a penis.

  • LOL!

  • HI SCRAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HELLO MY INCREDIBLY GOOD IDOL WHOS AS GOOD AT PIANO AS JOO, CHEON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHO EVERYBODY SHOULD CHECK OUT! *hint* :D

  • i agree with ukrainik. igu and joo's routine is much much better than rainer hersch both in terms of music and comedic effect. Thank you youtube for supporting what is right!

  • they are better

  • this is one of the most exciting, funny things that i have seen! it's not just funny - the way the pianist plays is beautiful!

  • I don't know how to play piano and i don't know the difficulty playing this piece, but this is brilliant!

  • I've played this piece, and you need fairly big hands to play it. At the end (at 1:07) in this video, you need to read 4 staves at once, and there are big chords that need you to make jumps from the bottom of the piano to the top. That's quite a clever idea, to be able to play all those notes at once.

  • Prelude Op.3#2

  • what piece is this

  • One of the most famous in the piano repertoire, Rachmaninoff's Prelude in C#minor Op 3. No. 2

  • this is actually the second piece from " cinq morceaux de fantaisie" (five fantasy pieces) opus 3. This prelude is also called "The bells of Moscow"... composed in 1892

  • Better than Rainer Hersch. Rainer Hersch is a loser and only wants money because he has taken legal action against igu and joo claiming that they stole this routine from him. Even if Rainer Hersch has this copyrighted, it won't make him better. Igu and Joo are 1000 times better than Hersch will ever be.

  • totally agree...Hersch has no stagemanship and just looks cheesy with his stupid sticks!

  • and lets just face it, joo is just a better pianist than rainer.

  • No Question!!

  • He is just bitter not only because he obviously can hardly play piano but also their rootine is much more entertaining and better executed.

Judging by the performences Joo and Igudesman are to unbelievable musicians who got borred with classical and dicided to do something "...completely different..." on the other hand Rainer wouldn't survive a week as a real concert pianist.

P.S. I love how he stopped allowing comments on his wall:)

  • The idea isn't even his either, "piano chord players" are retardedly similar and have been used for a while now... think it dates back to 1930 something :\

  • I agree on the issue about Rainer Hersch, though I am concerned with the name "A little nightmare music", and the album by PDQ Bach of the same name. Granted Peter (I cant remember his last name) isnt posting youtube videos concerning this if hes even aware of it.

  • You mean, Peter Schikele? (aka "PDQ Bach")

  • Yes, thats why I said PDQ Bach in the second line of the post. Granted i couldve tried harder to remember his last name in the last sentence. But yeah, thats what I was getting at.

  • Fantastic! Better than Lang Lang...

  • amazing!

  • nice!

  • wow thats' perfectly choreographed...
