I think Mariah did really good, considering it was a Memorial Service not a concert! How could anyone stay focus, when you have Michael Jackson's casket in front of you, and not feel pain and sadness. The point is MJ brought what earth is suppose be, brought what piece of heaven to us, which is love, compassion, excitement, & most of all courage to overcome hatred of all kinds. People took advantage of his kindness, & make false pretense against. We lose a very Loving human being. Miss &love MJ

The world stood still for 4 days after 6-25-09! On 7-07-09..was worst .4 generations have past, I never thought I would see this, at the age of 34. I grew up with Michael since the age 8 since 1st hearing the King Of Pop! The world will never be the same without him, No individual human being will ever replace him. I literally cryed when they sang sang this. It's a perfect song for this kind of thing.. I mean, we lost someone very dear to us and I can tell you, Michael was not as important to us as he was to his 3 children.. imagine how they feel....they must feel terrible right now. They worked on two songs together, "WHat More Can I Give" and another that was to be on her Charmbracelet album. They were on the same record company at one point. SHE went to him when she started having problems w/ Mottolla. Mariah suffers the same scrutiny that MJ went through. Leave her alone

it's hard enough to sing that song with all the high parts. then you have to remember how emotional she was. when you're trying not to cry, your whole throat closes, making it a little hard to talk, let alone sing. i think she did good, considering the fact that she may have been about to lose it!

I think "I'll Be There" was a heart felt tribute to a man many people admired. Mariah Carey did not rehearse the song at all because she had limited time. She still has crazy pipes. It was not meant to be a performance for a concert. It was for remembering MJ. It was beautiful anyway, despite missing notes. People loved it. And it was visibly appreciated by the family.
