You seemed to have it set to a very relaxed mode.

If you want to demonstrate it's true awesomness may I suggest that you turn up the brightness & saturation levels and set it to a more adaptave setting.

I have my 42" set to really show deeper colors than the mostly basic white that seemed to come through in your video. In several of the scenes you showed it would have been a very nice color explosion on my back wall.

I got one of these.. for some reason, pc to HDTV via HDMI doesn't work well with this tv.. I've tried all settings, scaled, unscaled, 1080p, 720p, adjusted colors, contrast etc etc.. nothing seems to make it look right, get jaggies too.

My roommate however has a 42'' Sony Bravia and a pc to HDTV connection through HDMI works fantastic on that thing.. (same pc, same cables) get a crisp clear image, as good as any purpose built LCD flat panel monitor.

this HDTV blows my FULL 1080p HDTV. Geee couple years can change a lot! I am getting new tv soon, but i'm fan of samsung, LG and sharp. Guess philips are good to. Brand is important but getting the "right model" within the brand is more important.

goto settings and set the HDTV settings if it's not on 1080p try 720p reset it then try 1080 again. then if it not working replug your composite or HDMI cable and give it a second to rest then retry. if your using HDMI try using composite set to HDMI on the xbox 360 connector on the box where you plug it in make sure it says HDMI or it's completely switched. :D

buy a playstation 3, or an xbox 360 those are both 1080p... or if ur not into games get a bluray player.

if you just want to watch TV, you have to ask your cable company if you are receiving any HD channels and then watch those

I bought it cheap off my brother so I'm not sure how much they are new... but i actually just switched from a Samsung HDTV.

I wouldn't recommend you get a samsung, they're okay but if you can stretch your budget, you get so much more with other brands. If you can, i'd say go for a philips (any with HD Natural Motion and a 2008 Pixel Perfect HD Engine) or Panasonic Viera. the difference between those and my old samsung is huge
