The Mission Thing is nothing Heres a cool glitch, in Jak 3 go to the scene player[act 3], choose the one before "Let's Finish this" the scene should show jak driving up to errols machine nd to the glitch, restart the mission nd do two things, one beat the mission, two check the mission list, btw you automaticly beat the game, I have not tested this for jak 2 someone should test that

This "glitch" is actually easy to explain. Here's my theory. They took the same coded world from the previous game. Some "crates" were there, but the "crate" object from jak 1 and jak II had the same names, so they got replaced automatically. Now why does the video glitch an allow you to move in the level when you do this ? That's a mysterious and funny glitch. That's all. I really don't think it was planned. Seriously... >_<

Jak II starts in sandover village,right before Jak grabs daxter and jumps into the portal.the guy probably took the disc out and then the game got stuck in the map.because its Jak II the codes for the health boxes hanged into the code of the health boxes from Jak II and i can tell this is Jak II because the health meter also has a dark eco meter.simple glitch,and i repeat this is Jak II not Jak I

There's no deep profound conspiracy behind this man. All they did was lazily replace the custom design of the fly boxes (hence they're in the same position of the fly boxes in jak 1) instead of removing the id from the database and re-adding it, etc. Furthermore, your potential story line wouldn't work... this is simply a glitched custom map that was set-up to set the scene of the introduction, nothing more; nothing less.
all they did was make that place for the cutscene and they save more memory if they put items so they put dark eco boxes. OR just something to do with Dead Town!
It still boggles my mind to this day that people though that a Jak 2 glitch had any inter connection to a Jak game that came out about 4 or 5 years after.

This doesn't prove there will be in another Jak game. The KG boxes are where the Scout Flies in TPL were, for one thing. They used Sandover just for the cut scene, and probably just threw in what they had, making Sandover available via glitch. This accounts for why you are not able to get to the jungle, why there are no villagers and why the KG boxes are where the Scout Flies used to be. Or at least something to that degree :p

@hexijinx I fell that they should come up with a MAR game to go along with it, and the idea that the other guy put forward is not that bad, it would put it into a kinda 4 game circle where each one leads to the other and then back to the beginning. But they need a MAR game to add on to the story line since they added mar in in the 2nd game

It was fun until TLF came out. Then, it got ruined. The only voice actor that remained the same was Keira. Even Jak's voice actor was different. D: It wasn't as good gameplay either. If they do make a Jak 4, they need to make it like the first three. Otherwise, it's going to be crap.

Meaning, the new company didn't have to change anything about the game. They could have kept it all in its original form and not have gotten in trouble. @itachisbloodlust The Jak IV game was actually very fun, but I do admit I hate when a game has different voices than the previous ones. I played Ratchet & Clank ACIT in English instead of french because in french they didn't even have the same voices for the whole game !!!
Even if I think some improvments could be made to jak VI, such as allowing all the same moves from the original series, removing that stupide stick and the ugly green gun, a less linear world and Dark Jak.
didn't you notice that those KG crates are in the EXACT same place as Scout Fly boxes in Jak 1...? It's probably just a scripting thing, replacing the code for Scout Flies with KG crates. It's just as simple as that.
Besides, TLF has nothing to do with Sandover, it's all at the Brink...
young Jak and arrives to the village few years BEFORE his first adventure (gol and maiai and stuff) so he will have time to grow up and then save the world from being flooded. That's why the sutuation you described can't happen (unless the rift will have new cordinates), but nice thinking you should design games. :D
For first, J&D:TLF wasnt MADE by Naughtydog. So this is just a random glitch that is in the game. For second, Naughtdog NEEDED to remake Sandover Village, but some dumbass devolper put Krimzon Guard crates in the huts for little easter eggs. Besides, the crates replaced the Scout Fly Boxes in J&D:TPL. ANY retard can fall for that when they find the glitch. Also, even a 7-8 year old can find that glitch. Its like when the Naught Dog sign appears, some kid decided to clean the disc. And it happens

Just a heads up, the Krimson Crates are there pbecause they replaced the previous Search Flies as the box, compare their positions and see the similarities.
um...not really-when they go back in time-they go back farther then when they left off-so then jak would grow up-go to the future, and shend mimi me back-its like a cycle-and the only reason u can be in sandover is because they probably just used the village map as backround for the scean so they didnt have to disigen a totlay new backround for the 30 sec jaks in sandover

the only reason your able to play in sandover village when they wrote the cutscene into they had to map it in 3D for the game itself ... so all it is really is a glitch a flaw in the game caused by opening the disc tray ... there was no hint for the 4th jack game

you have to go to scene 1 act 1, take out the disk without resetting, put it back in and wait for it to say continue, once there restart the mission and your free to move around :)
1.the fact that i was online and it said that JakIV/JakTLF is going to bee about kiera becoming a sage not going back in time. 2.also young jak was sent back to waaaaaaaaaaaayyyy before anything in jak 1 happened because if he didn't there wouldn't be any jak games because he never was there before jak 1 happened so he would never do anything in jak 2 and up because he never did anything in jak 1
just played TLF and it took me a day to complete oh yeh this had NOTHING to do with TLF and all those KG boxes has the same scripts as the first one so mixed scripts.
notice how in those exact places that the kg boxes were, jak 1 there were keira's bug robots in the same spots....... maby they took they remade the boxes and turned them in to the kg boxes and when they changed them they changed too. thats my theory.
the games out and they really are trying to go back to the old game because there arent anymore metalheads and u go back to blue, red, yellow and green eco stuff no more dark or light.
for those of you who think that glitch really dose has anything to do with a future game. jak will be scent back in time to build haven city. jak's name is mar as stated by him self at the end of jak 3. weather he's the same mar that built the city I don't know but it only make's seance, like the next sly game being a time travel game after Bentley was building that machine.
The glitch is because naughty dog created sandover village and put it in Jak 2 for the opening cutscene. They needed the enviornment for the game cameras to film.

@daberko120ch I'm pretty sure the dark eco boxes are there either as a test to make sure dark eco works in the beta of the game, or, if you noticed, they are in the locations of scout fly boxes.
@DisasterPiece0302 ya, the test idea may cause less glitching in the main levels, but i don't think where they are located has any significance. i think its just to spawn them faster, just delete, put new box in. then there done. then all they have to do is test it.
@daberko120ch Chances are that this is the first level they programmed into the game, which would give it a reason to be the "test level" since they knew it wasn't going to be in the game.
@7bioncle8 Naughtydog doesn't use an entirely prerendered cutscene. Sure, they prerender the character models for the cutscenes so they look better, but the environments are in game graphics. So it's just special cutscene models walking around in game. Since that's how the cutscenes were made, they have to make an actual walkable place.
btw young jak travels to time way before any of the metalhead rift thing happened... because young jak will grow up... and then experience jak 1 and the open the gate to metalheads. and the cutscenes are game based so it had to be mapped properly or else jak and others would have fallen through the floor.

Oh and i think since Jak 2 has this glitch (or whatever you wanna call it) in sandover village, and then almost at the end of Jak 3 where Damos gets killed, and hands over a "amulant" to Jak and tells him to find his son and give it to him. So since Jak 2 and Jak 3 have stuff to do with Sandover village and "Mar" it seems like ND is going to make a J&D game with Jak and Daxter back in sandover village, i think

It was fun until TLF came out. Then, it got ruined. The only voice actor that remained the same was Keira. Even Jak's voice actor was different. D: It wasn't as good gameplay either. If they do make a Jak 4, they need to make it like the first three. Otherwise, it's going to be crap.

Meaning, the new company didn't have to change anything about the game. They could have kept it all in its original form and not have gotten in trouble. @itachisbloodlust The Jak IV game was actually very fun, but I do admit I hate when a game has different voices than the previous ones. I played Ratchet & Clank ACIT in English instead of french because in french they didn't even have the same voices for the whole game !!!
Even if I think some improvments could be made to jak VI, such as allowing all the same moves from the original series, removing that stupide stick and the ugly green gun, a less linear world and Dark Jak.

didn't you notice that those KG crates are in the EXACT same place as Scout Fly boxes in Jak 1...? It's probably just a scripting thing, replacing the code for Scout Flies with KG crates. It's just as simple as that.
Besides, TLF has nothing to do with Sandover, it's all at the Brink...

young Jak and arrives to the village few years BEFORE his first adventure (gol and maiai and stuff) so he will have time to grow up and then save the world from being flooded. That's why the sutuation you described can't happen (unless the rift will have new cordinates), but nice thinking you should design games. :D

For first, J&D:TLF wasnt MADE by Naughtydog. So this is just a random glitch that is in the game. For second, Naughtdog NEEDED to remake Sandover Village, but some dumbass devolper put Krimzon Guard crates in the huts for little easter eggs. Besides, the crates replaced the Scout Fly Boxes in J&D:TPL. ANY retard can fall for that when they find the glitch. Also, even a 7-8 year old can find that glitch. Its like when the Naught Dog sign appears, some kid decided to clean the disc. And it happens

the only reason your able to play in sandover village when they wrote the cutscene into they had to map it in 3D for the game itself ... so all it is really is a glitch a flaw in the game caused by opening the disc tray ... there was no hint for the 4th jack game

@7bioncle8 Naughtydog doesn't use an entirely prerendered cutscene. Sure, they prerender the character models for the cutscenes so they look better, but the environments are in game graphics. So it's just special cutscene models walking around in game. Since that's how the cutscenes were made, they have to make an actual walkable place.

btw young jak travels to time way before any of the metalhead rift thing happened... because young jak will grow up... and then experience jak 1 and the open the gate to metalheads. and the cutscenes are game based so it had to be mapped properly or else jak and others would have fallen through the floor.

Sorry man, but you got this completely wrong. Your story prediction is plausible, but Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier is set in the time after Jak3.
