Ive got the same bike w/an ignition problem, it has no battery so im thinking that it needs one to run, is this true does your bike need a battery to run>>??

it needs a tappet adjustment, and cam chain tension.

Thanks, this video is the first run since the mid 1980's.
Do yours run well? Fixing the looks up is the easy part. We are going to need to replace some kickstart gears in ours, not looking forward to it?
