I would go against the idea to drop them. These things are rare, they make clues seem common. If you get 1 just do it for kicks. The lesser demon is the only one that gives anything close to a hard time.

because you can't each one of the champions has their own way that needs to be killed this one's rules are:

no armor

no weapons

no magic
