  • I remember "Wipeout". This show used to be on WNBC-TV (channel 4) back in around 1988 or 1989 when it was in the wee hours of the morning which was around 2 AM or 3 AM.

  • Maggie Brown the "Awwwww SHOOT!" Lady

  • Remember the motto Deslect before you reselect

  • davy crockett hair do?

  • This aired on the USA Network from 1989 - 1991.

  • Although Maggie found the 6 correct answers, they still played the music as if she ran out of time

  • I used to watch this on USA Network.

  • hahaha check out the car.....

  • The music is godly.

  • I agree. Absolutely FANTASTIC.

  • Wow! With just 3 seconds left

  • Why did Wheel of Fortune wait so long to implement a board like this? This is obviously way before 1997!

  • That's a good question! Maybe the folks working at Wheel thought the technology wasn't yet available for them on the puzzle board, or they might have thought that it was too expensive. That's just my assumption, but who knows? Hope this helps. ;)

  • I used to watch this on WOI-TV Channel 5 (ABC affiliate) when I was a kid and I liked it.

  • I believe channel 5 in Washington, DC (WTTG-TV, Fox) aired the show around the time I was in the second and third grade. I used to own the version for the Apple IIc computer.

  • Hey I use to watch this on USA Network before it became known as the network for Law & Order: SVU and CI as well as the network for Mony and Psych.

and BTW< WIPEOUT is owned by CBS/Paramount

I would LOVE for GSN to show this again.

  • When did this air on USA?

  • @tnawcwvictoria And "Wipeout" is now owned by CBS TV Distribution.

  • I wonder if she would have lost, would she have shouted AW SHOOT real loud like she did when she whammied on PYL.

  • Is this version like "The Race Game" on The Price Is Right?

  • Kinda-sorta, except you find everything in a given category, instead of matching the prices to their prizes...

  • deselect to reselect

  • DUH! dim432, you never learn!

  • Why did this show only last one year? I sort of enjoyed this show even USA reran it for two years straight.

  • It ran for 8 years in the UK.

  • And about 2 years in Australia as a kids show.

  • I saw the program on that channel as well. I thought it was okay, in general, but I really liked Press Your Luck. USA also had that show as well. That channel had lots of great game shows in their afternoon lineup. But some of these shows are not seen much anymore.
