I totally saw this too and it was beautiful! It got bigger and brighter the longer I stared at it. And then I made a big ass wish! lol But I did see it, it's probably one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.

i saw it, im in el paso texas. saw it around 7pm or so. 3 secs of tiny blue light into a great big green tail with bring yellow and white head for another 3 secs into a 2 second burn out.

Could have been the Green Lantern.
