Joost was without question the best 9 of all time, I never thought I'd see a better 9 ever again. Du Preez has surpassed him! He has no weaknesses in his game. Keep in mind that he played throughout 2009 with a damaged shoulder!

Fourie has no equal and never will have while he is in shape, the reason for this is not because he can do everything a scrumhalf must do but because he is one of the best readers of the game at the moment in world rugby, they dont call him general fourie for nothing, he can dictate a whole game as he did against England for instance in 2007 world cup qualifiers 36-0. And against the chiefs in super14 finals.

@ratfac true, but Kelleher is known as an unpredictable and unorthodox scrumhalf, he prefers to run more than passing plus he's strong and fast, that's y he's such an interesting player to watch, he's my idol 4 sure

@ShaNz194 its great to have a strong scrum half dont get me wrong and its great to make a break, but the job of the scrumhalf is to feed the rest of the team and make the decisions...if a scrum half makes a short break and doesnt break through there is nobody there to make a decision and the ball is slow. thats why fourie is better...he is an incredible decision maker and passer and picks IDEAL times to make a break whreas kelleher just goes for them all the time

@twinytwo LMAO!! Was a great player in his day, but just a good one in 09. His greatest exploit was exploiting adi Jacobs in the first 2 Lions tests, which was hardly anything of note, but NH had an orgasm over it.

@twinytwo I watched those first two tests several times, frame by frame. They directed all of their play through Jacobs. In the first test, the Lions were beaten in all facets of play, but the non-tackling Jacobs was so porous that it allowed O'Driscoll and Roberts have free reign. On the EOYT, Olivier and Fourie kept O'Driscoll very quiet. I'm taking nothing away from BOD, he's the best 13 since Gerber, and one of my fav players, but facts are facts.
