I'm going to make this tonight but I'm doing it the lazy way with ready made sauce but I will add some frozen diced onion and mushrooms in it.. I can't wait.. om nom nom
Me and my friend just cooked Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo just like in the video and it turned out really good! Thank you for the video. Great job!!! :)
@SiculianuPazzu - Yea I don't know REAL italian food but my taste buds could give 2 shits whether a dish is american or authentic. Dude you're talking to a fat ass, my taste buds don't care about authenticity haha..
i use to love to wash dishes until i grew up and found out my mom was using me stupid dishes i hae washing them when we cook sphagetti because then i have all that red sauce and stuff in the diswater eewww.
No of course you DO NOT use mozzarella in Alfredo sauce. What the fuck are you trying to do? If you want to make it with mozzarella then it is not Alfredo you are trying to make. This would be a cardinal sin in Italy.
OMG I tried this tonight and it came out A-mazing!! You made it user friendly :) It was so easy and simple to make with mucho flavor. Thank you so much for sharing. :) Please keep makin more videos!
looks good but a few pointers b/c i think will make u a better cook:
1- never cook your veggies then throw raw chicken in there! cross contamination alert! cook them separate then throw them together when making the sauce.
2- don't rinse/ "wash" the pasta as you said. the starch that remains on the pasta surface after draining it will allow for the sauce to stick better to pasta. and u can even use some of the starchy pasta water in the sauce to produce a thicker sauce.
I mate this dish according to ur directions. turned out delicious and great, Thanks so much for putting this video up. Very easy to make and quick too
@brendasgx Absolutely, I've tried it with shrimp before too. I would suggest sauteing it separately in another pan with a lil bit of garlic and butter then adding it at the end when everything is cooked.
hey starving cook... yeah you made me starve with your recipe.. thank you, and never mind those haters.. they just don't know how to cook...they're pigs who only know how to eat.. lol. your voice is so sweet. would wanna imagine your face.. haha! well done buddy! do u have any other vids to share? :)
First of all you should cook chicken then the veg. Second you should put pasta into the sauce and not sauce into the pasta. It sounds stupid but that's the italian way.
@FireStormBaller You're right! For me it's stupid to cook pasta like this... Forget this recipe, don't try this at home, and come to Italy to eat some good pasta!
@Nitelife30 stop talking about the "italian way", nobody does that in italy like we say "manco i cani si mangiano sta roba" which means that not even the dogs would eat such a thing !!
wish my husband was into cooking like this. lol. a friend on youtube username: familyofthreenow used evaporated milk and kraft parmesan cheese. hers was good but TOOOO thick despite using a portion of the ingredients with more pasta...i wil have to try yours.
verry good stuff made it a few times now and i love it! i use heavy cream instead (just cause i had it) and i don't even think about going out for this dish anymore. thanks for this awsome recipe!
I think that the comments that people have been posting which are negative is ridiculous. I never claimed to be a chef or even be close to it. I just wanted to made a low calorie version of Fettucine Alfredo. I don't care if you ppl think its not Italian, what ever get over it. It tasted great and in the end that's what matters in my opinion. Add and change the recipe to your liking.
He is right, it's a cooking video! It doesn't matter where it came from or anything else. It is good and good for you so just try to make it and see what you think.

I didn't really taste the onion, honestly. Green onions are pretty light on that flavor. I think you can get away with taking them out or using very little (just the green parts).
