Here's what you put in the recycle plastic bottle:
1 part of raw/brown sugar, 3 parts of fruit peels and leftovers, 10 parts of water. Say you're gonna make 1.4 kg of enzyme, it's easier to measure by weight such as 100g of raw sugar, 300g of fruits and 1kg of clean water (tap water can do too as long as it's clean). Doesn't matter which one to put in first, after you've stuff everything into the bottle, keep the cap tight and keep it at cool place for more than 3 months.
This video was shot in Malaysia, a country where we have lots of soft drink bottles being thrown away, I just pick them up, clean them and reuse them for my enzyme making project. Malaysia is also a tropical country that is blessed with many types of fruits, so in my enzyme, I get whatever fruit I can find, example: Dragon fruit, pineapple, papaya, watermelon etc. Now you don't need to buy them and use them all, you can eat the fruit and then use the peels and leftovers.
There're so many ways to make fruit enzymes, it's very popular in Asia now, especially the Taiwanese has been widely publishing this in Magazines, newspapers etc. But don't get confuse with so many methods that claim they are the best enzyme (there're really none), just make fruit enzyme with whatever ingredient you have on hand and however convenient you want.
can you use vegetable matter?
