@09csr Nope, it won't replace them. They will be completly new cars with new and different performances all tweaked by those who had made them. The only thing is there is a certain amount of cars you can put in the car folder. Too much will make the game freak and it wont let you start it up. Other things are some cars have so much detail in them that at some points all you can do is races against one other racer as having it full grid can make the game crash as well.

Whenever we speak about racing, my mom always mentions 3 things:

1) Hometown;

2) Lamborghini Diablo;

3) Need for Speed 3.

Since I was 6 in 1998, she has never played any other racing configuration but for the mentioned above. Now I'm 19, but the sound of a car scratching off its side paint when driving too close to a wall and mother's "Resetting is for cheaters!" are still clearly echoing in mind.

@Ursenfuns dude, guess what. the game was indeed running on software acceleration on my netbook. the colours were toned down and as i said the tire smoke and dust had poor quality, the framerate was eratic too, but the game has a 3d device setup utility that lets me choose my 3d device. turns out the netbook's

GPU can support the game. the graphics are optimised now and the framerate is high and constand no matter whats going on in the screen. a warning though, the game wont install on win 7.
