  • Just fitted to an RG370dxl. Thanks for the simple video :) I thought it'd be harder to fit!

  • umm. The clamp is a small, it says on the website it'll work with my Edge III... but the screws are too far apart to go in on the clamp. Now what?

  • Why doesn't Tremolo-no eliminate the three different versions and simply sell this device in a "universal" one package setup which includes the pin, large and small clamps heads? This way there is no guess work and those of us with odd shaped or custom trem blocks can easily get the Tremolo-no to fit no matter what our setup is.

  • So when I put this on my Jackson Warrior with Floyd Rose, I will be able to downtune from my Standard tuning to Drop d, Eb, D, Db, C or drop B? Will the tremolo stay in place if I set it right?

  • Ibanez RG1077XL with a Lo-pro Edge 7, which Tremol-no do I need?

  • What about for 7 string guitar? does the tremol no works for 7 string guitar?Because my guitar is 7 string, and it's bridge is an edge pro...what can you suggest?

  • I don't understand what's the deal with the floyd rose in the first place. It is such a pain and I have a perfectly fine FAT10 floating bridge without that whole "cut off the ball of the string, work 100 different screws just to get 1 string in place" and works better than my friend's floyd rose in my opinion. is there ANY advantage to it at all?

  • Can you use a regular Tremel-no in a 7 string floyd cavity? Or will you perhaps be releasing a 7 string model in the future?

  • I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for both the Tremol-No and this foolproof video. Mine arrived today and I had it installed before I was halfway through Passion and Warfare- and I was taking my time doing it so I'm sure it can be done faster!

So- thank you! It's great to have my RG1527 in hardtail or "Pablo Gilberto" mode! I can go to drop tunings whenever I want, have the tuning stability of a locking system AND still have the tremolo ready for playing some Satriani if I feel like it :)

  • This looks freaking amazing. If I buy it and it doesn't work, is there some kind of warranty on it or something?

  • @freakfreak12345 These work great. I have one and it does what it says. 3 different modes: full floating like it isn't even there, dive only, or locked.

  • Which Tremol-No do I need for a Squire Bullet Strat?

  • what was that wireyou vut?did you connected it after installing the tremolno?

  • Might have been asked, but which Tremol-No fits an Ibanez S2170FB Prestige with a ZR tremolo?

  • I'm skeptical about how well this will stay in place with just thumb screws to hold it in place. Anyone want to tell me how reliable it is?

  • Thinking about buying this for my LTD guitar with Floyd Rose Special. I want to be able to drop down when needed and keep it stable.

  • If you have a "big block" installed, can you still instal this????

  • Anyone know if these can be installed on PRS USA guitars?

  • i have an Edge Pro 7 string, can i use this?

  • Is there a Tremol-hell-no? A version that allow for NO option other than "hard tail" mode? Reduce the risk of slippage or other troubles?

Hell, on my old RG350, I got it set up, then jammed pennies around the block to keep it from moving. LOL! Don't really wanna do that with my Xiphos. :)

  • GRAPHITE SADDLES? IS THAT AN AFTERMARKET PART? CUZ I SEE THAT STEVE VAIS FLOYD ROSE IS DIFFERENT ON HIS JEM THEN HIS PRODUCTION MODELS I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT UPGRADES HE USES

  • Now that I got my big-block installed -- the small clamp does not fit around the block. This really sucks. Should I get the large clamp version? What exactly is the difference?

  • so i have an ibanez rg350dx, will it work? it has edge 3 tremolo, i was also wondering if im in hard tail mode, could i change my tuning from standard to maybe drop C? and could you also change string gauges ? i was also wondering what happens when i cut the wire off from the thing that holds the springs with hooks

  • I have a Jackson Rhoads and I want to tune it in Drop C, what should I buy ?

  • would it be big or small clamp for a Dean Vendetta 1F ?

  • It is necessary to take of the locking nut from the top of the guitar which are 3 of them ?

  • Hey there Tremol-no people.

I know a guy who bought the Suhr Guthrie Govan guitar with the tremol-no, and it seems really usefull. So i wondered if tremol-no would work with the Schaller S-FRT II ? I would really love to have a tremol-no for adjusting the intonation, and of course, it would be awesome to bend one string with another one ringing without making it sound shit :)

  • What's the difference between the small clamp and the large clamp? Because I'm looking to put it on my Cort x6 with a Floyd Rose and they both look the same.

  • Were u using DR strings?

  • This installation looks pretty hard

  • What type of tremol-no fits a floyd rose licensed trem?

  • The main reoson I'm looking at this is because the only thing I feel restricted about my Ibanez RG350 is the inability to drop tune because I would really like to drop tune to B D or even C. Would this product work for me.

  • ive so gotta get me one if these motherfuckers,.........i need drop tuning for constantly switching between standard d and drop c......

  • Which one do I use on for a Original Floyd Rose 7?

  • Can I lock the tremel-no, change my tuning, and then unlock it and still have it stay in tune?

  • @wpm2011 No, but all you have to do is ajust the claw

  • whats the difference between pin type, clamp type small

    and

clamp type large????? w deep c?????

  • @lemonsongthe which bridge it attaches to

  • @camelotisasillyplace so a large clap is for fender right? and the small ones are for like jacksons and ibanez what about the pin type???

  • will it work in the edge pro?is so what size?

  • Hey! this is a small or large clamp? I have a floyd and the pin type dont work with the holes in the block of my floyd. I think that the clamp type will works. But here in my country I only can get the small clamp. The small clamp works with floyd rose? thank you!

  • what's the difference between large and small clamp type versions?

  • if u install one of these, can you remove it to regain use of ur tremelo system?

  • hey guys

does that also work for my edge low pro 7 string trem?

  • Hi everyone. I have an Ibanez RG with an edge III trem. I want to drop tune quite low (drop B and drop A). Would this be a good product for me to buy?

  • just try it out, it should be good thing for you

  • @HardDiskDriver1 buying a Morpheus DropTune pedal would be better.

  • @HardDiskDriver1 It would be a could purchase (BUT)........ getting a proper string gauge is more important at this point. Getting a tremolno doesn't equal ultra br00tz with no string tension. You still need to figure out which strings are going to work best for YOU. Now go out and testing some string gauges, and find out.

  • @theallmightyham Woahwoahwoah, are you saying that I dont need a tremol-no to drop tune? I was under the impression that my trem would "unbalance" and refuse to stay in tune if i drop tuned without a lock.

    Thanks :)

  • i have a jackson dkm2. what kinda of treml-no would i need

  • @stolenhonda181

There's a guide on their website you could use.

  • thanks

  • Comment removed

  • i just installed mine today took me about 15 min and added the evh d-tuna ive had for 9 years now but have never been able to use till now works great

  • i have a musicman john petrucci 6 string and im wondering which model tremol-no i need. Any help is greatly appreciated

  • go ask on the Tremol-No forums

  • I have an Ibanez rgt42dxfm and I dont know whether to purchase the pin type or no clamp type tremol-no. Also if I have purchase the clamp type would it have to be large or small? Someone please help!

  • I've got the same model, just bought one of these. You'll want the small clamp type.

  • I have a problem with my trmol no unit.I noticed that my floyd rose dosen't get back in his standar position after dive and pull ups.Can somebadoy help me?

  • what if i use 4 springs on my floyd? there are only 3 holes and none in the middle?

  • If there is only 3 holes: you probably can't.

    My trem' has 5.

But I actually have 4 spring to reduce claw-adjustments. Did you want to install a tremel-no?

  • I have two Tremol-no questions ; What kind of wrist watch is that you're wearing, and where did you get those wire strippers?

The 3M blue low-tack masking tape will help prevent finish damage.

  • I've got a unpacked tremol-no right here befor me (thanks ebay) for my ibanez rg370dx... but I feel a little bit scared of the installation since I screwed up most of the time I tried to adjust my tremolo. Now let's see...

  • Will this work on a lo pro edge?

  • What is the difference between clam type and pin type?? What type should i buy for my Ibanez Rg 370dx ????

  • for ur rg u would use the small clamp style. theres a small one one and a large one, not quite sure of the difference yet but i no RG=small clamp

  • Is that the same for the JEM then - I have a 555 and am considering the investment!

  • yeah ur gonna wanna use the small clamp for ur jem

  • any idea about a xiphos? :D lol

  • small clamp dude

  • i'd use a small clamp for that too.

  • i have a feeling that this is a stupid question but will it work as well on a seven string?

  • The Tremol-No is probably the most genious upgrade for a floyd rose guitar ever, I love it! Couldn't live without it by now

    Thanks loads guys!

  • Thanks for the video, I installed mine and it works great!

  • can you tune it all the way to drop C or even further?

  • can you install this on a seven string guitar?

  • Wait...

Which size clamp do I buy for Floyd Rose?

  • I could never figure that out either mate. Ended up buying the pin version which fitted my original floyd rose just fine. \m/_

  • thanks man

i didnt even look at the pin type

    LOL

  • Hi! thank´s for the video...where can I find one? on Guitar center...sam ash? I can´t find it in their web page!!!!

  • go to the allparts site thats where they sell it

  • got mine new on ebay for $47

  • Which size did you get?

  • does this help with tuning stability???

  • You can put it into the dive-only mode and you can detune all you want and the other strings won't go out of tune.

  • are your strings green??? they look like dental floss haha I WANT THEM

  • would it be possible to install a ZR trem in an RG? and how much work would it be. i want to replace my edge 3 because the blocks that hold the strings in always break in half. Its just a shitty trem in my opinion.

  • It's not a shitty trem! My works great on my Ibanez RG 350. You just need to do a good setup of your guitar and that's it.

I'm interested in buying Tremol-No because I don't have money for some other guitars and with it I can easily change the tune of my guitar! This thing is great!

  • No you can't install an ZR, you can install an Edge Pro but thats about it. Its not worth it get the edge 3 set up right and it will be fine.

  • do these work on edge III type systems? if not i was thinking of getting an original floyd system anyway...

  • Edge III? No problem. Get the Clamp-type (Small).

  • actually i bought one before you told me that, a pin type, and it works fine with the edge III

  • @TremolNo

Do you know what a Graphtech licensed Floyd would use?

  • Using an Ibanez Edge and it's a pain in the ass, I need dive only mode. Anybody know a good UK retailer for these?

  • Check with AllParts-UK.

They usually have all the models in stock.

  • hum, I have a question, does it work only with ibanez-style trems ?

  • The Tremol-No will work with almost all fulcrum-based trem systems made since 1954.

Check out the FAQ page on the website and scroll down to the "Works With" list.

    It's pretty extensive.

  • @TremolNo Hi, I've just checked the list and the Floyd Rose Special isn't listed. Will this work on an epi LP nightfall or pro/fx? thanks for checking

  • Awesome! Could it work with IBanez ZR Tremolo system?

  • Only if you take out the ZPS first. The ZR already has a stabilizing system.

  • Sorry- the T-No won't work with the Ibanez ZR trem systems.

    That's their own proprietary design.

  • thank you.

  • are those green strings?

    thats awesome,

anyways i just got my tremol-no ordered, cant wait!

  • DR strings.....the color is called "Peacock Blue".

  • thanks for the string names,

i put the Tremol-no in my Jackson. I just wanted to say it works great, Ive taken it out after having it in for a while because i didnt need it anymore though. it never let me down.

    anyways, thanks!

  • please man help me,,, I have a question that is killing me,,, my question is,,,I have a ibanez edge pro III, the tremol-no work with this guitar? because in the website of tremol-no says that only works for guitars with edge pro II and I have a ibanez guitar edge pro III,,, so tell me what tremol-no work with my guitar?,,,thank you,,,

  • Yeah, man, I'm with ivanovosixx. I've got the same thing. I'd imagine it would be the small clamp? Because that's what it is for the Edge, Edge Pro, and Edge Pro II.. Is that right?

  • yeah get the small clamp type one it's good.

  • I got it and it works like a charm. :)

  • hey yeah i bought one for my 350dx and i emailed the dude at tremol no and he said to get the small clap type which i did and it's awesome it's really helped my guitar heaps. no more gayness from that bridge

  • ooh ok dude,,, thank you,,, you answer my doubt,,, but,,, what small clap type do you mean?,,,do you mean the Tremol-No™ Clamp-type (Small) w/ Deep-C™?,,,

  • Ivan- yes. Part Number is: BP-2007-010.

Thanks for the help, Nic and Super!

  • so the clamp-type small work with my ibanez with flyd rose edge pro III ?

  • hi quick question does this work on a stratocaster if so wich one do i need the clamp small clamp or a pin i dont know but i am very intrusted because i wanted to get a hardtail just to drop d with having to reajust everything

  • Bob- for your Strat, you'll want to go with the Pin-type.

Should work great on your ride.

  • Scorpion's correct: DR strings.

BTW- they're not green. They're blue.

  • where can i buy a tremol no, Guitar center does not sale that

  • Check eBay. You can find a brand new one for $45.00 with free shipping.

  • You can purchase the Tremol-No from any authorized AllParts dealer. GC is a dealer, but not all stores have them in stock. You may have to order it through them.

There are a bunch of dealers on "popular auction sites", but be careful: not all of them are legit dealers. So many scammers out there.

  • Probably DR coated

  • Nice vid, and cool strings! :D

  • Thanks!

  • Wich one is better for an original Floyd Rose ? Clamp-type or Pin-type ?

  • wats the difference?

  • on the official website, there is a link to a page that tells you what type is best for different tremolos

  • Depends on your playing style.

Players who rarely use their trem prefer the Pin-type.

Players who dive more than Jacques Cousteau seem to enjoy the Clamp-type (Small).

Your playing style will help you choose.

Both models have the same features and benefits.

The only difference is how they attach to the trem block.

  • So thanks, I think I now know wich I would prefer.

  • Where do you install the extra set screws to run in hardtail full-time?

  • i assume..

through the holes on the claw, into the body. not sure tho, dont try it til your sure

  • Remove the thumbscrews in the Receiver (or Deep-C) and replace with the set screws.

  • Thanks, cool vid, real helpful.

  • I just got my tremol-no last night and installed it. The only problem I had was getting my springs back in. Kevan makes it look a lot easier. When he says get a good grip on the springs he means it!

I'm still fine tuning it but I'm extremely happy with it. I'm using it for mainly dive only mode. It's superb!

  • Thanks! Glad to hear you're having fun with it!

If I had a nickel for every trem spring I've pulled; put back in.....

    :-D

  • I have 1 TremelNo installed on my Music Man Luke guitar and it works great, thanks. I need to buy one for my new Dean Razorback, but the claw doesn't really fit inside the trem cavity. This is a noob question, but is the small clamp TremolNo unit smaller overall and would fit, or is the "small" referring to the clamp size itself? thanks for your time.

  • LUKE FTW! :-)

For your Razorback, you can use the Clamp-type (Small). It should work great on that guitar.

The Small and Large sizes refer to the thickness of the trem blocks the T-No is going on. Floyds and Kahlers generally have thinner (small) trem blocks; vintage Strats and some Wilkinson/PRS trems have very thick (large) trem blocks.

  • I have two guitars with Floyd Rose bridge. I want to istall D-Tuna's on both. Do I also have to install the Tremolno on these guitars to keep them in tune when I drop D?

  • Only if the trem's are floating. If they are against the body you don't have to.

  • If your Floyds are floating, then you'll love the T-No for drop tunings.

If your Floyds rest against the face of the body, then you won't need a T-No for dropped tunings....but you may still want one for Hardtail mode and the added sustain it can bring.

  • i need to gets me some of them green strings. nice vid :D i am considering one of these.

  • I want my 565 back, dammit!

    :)

  • Heh heh...I know who you are, and.....no.

    :-)

  • Fucking great product. Awesome idea to make this.

  • Thanks!

(BTW- can we refrain from swearing? I don't mean to be a goody-goody, but sometimes kids read these and, well.... TIA)

  • Amazing product.

  • whats a tremel-no?

  • ...

  • i sriously dont noe what does it do does it stop the trm from moving or keeps it intune beta what??? ive neva herd of em

  • tehsimo: That's what I meant, when I adjust the action on the bridge I like to keep the side on the bass strings slightly higher than the treble strings since they usually buzz a bit. Would this be ok with the tremol-no?

  • Yes. The Tremol-No will still function properly even though the bridge is slightly "tilted".

  • I like to keep the post alignment slightly angled so the bass strings are higher than the treble strings to avoid string buzz on the low strings. Can I still keep my tremolo angled like this with the tremol-no or does it require the trem to be perfectly horizontal to the body?

  • uh.. attempting to put the bridge anything but perpendicular to the body is going to ruin your knife edges and make it unstable.. just adjust the saddles on the bridge, or the action on the bridge itself

  • Yes. The Tremol-No will still function properly even though the bridge is slightly "tilted".

  • does it really matter if you get a pin or a clamp?

  • It depends on your trem system.

There's a "Works With" list on the website to help you choose the right model for your trem.

  • where the hell are u meant to buy a clamp type tremel-no i can only find pin type

  • If Im not mistaken, the Pin type is just the name for newer version. Im pretty sure they don't sell the clamp type anymore for that reason

  • Due to popular demand, the Clamp-type has been re-issued.

Both Pin and Clamp types are now in production and available.

  • You can purchase either model (Clamp or Pin) from any authorized AllParts dealer.

Both models are in production and available.

  • So, would this be the right installation ro use on my Edge II bridge?

  • Sorry, Edge III**

  • Yes. You'll want to order the Clamp-type (Small); p/n# BP-2007-010.

  • My local Guitar Center never heard of this product, but the website states that Guitar Center sells it. Hmmmmmm.

  • Guitar Center is an authorized AllParts dealer.

If your local GC doesn't have it in stock, it can be ordered through them.

  • I want instant gratification.

  • Can the whole guitar be tuned with this product or only drop d?

  • If you have it in dive only or hard tail mode any of the strings can be tuned however you want to.

  • Really, if that is true then this is a great product. I think I may have to find a couple of these.

  • That is not *quite* true. In hardtail, go ahead, tune it however you want. But is dive only, you can only tune down. This will likely not be much of an issue, but if you are regularly tuned down, but want to tune up, you need to put in in hardtail.

  • "Avenite8"'s post below is correct.

  • Just to be sure, I use a Ibanez Edge3, does the tremel-no work with every kind of bridge?

and, importantly to me, will it work with my bridge?

  • It works with basically all trem system.
