i got a fake wii remote: It doesn't have Nintendo seal, its all crisp, every time the console is shut down theres no connection(unless we rerest it),its slight heavy, the sound is extremely off, its loud, the buttons are different(they look like a tv remote), and the buttons are faded

I bought a couple of turquise ones. I have a problem with the D-Pad pointing down when I'm trying to go right.

Seems like the D-Pad is a bit to stiff... Playing NSMB is very hard with this fake one.

@magicianofdhs many fakes have Nintendo on it and many other brands are faked. These fakes have little differences in the label so they look real but when you look close they are fake. This is how they get around that by changing the print, color, and size of the label.

I bought one of these and everything works great except the control pad is mushy. Is this normal for aftermarket? It would be fine for wii fit but not good for games like Mario.

wow, really thorough testeing, i bought someof the fake ones off an ebay-like site, and im trying to spot all the diffrences. try testing how they all function with motion plus. two of the fakes i got had real problems with calibrating the motion plus!

@Sakotius Yeah besides the weak rumble and speaker performance these are great option for extra/backup remotes. I don't know how much the quality varies with the fakes but these particular three wiimotes seem to be performing decently. If you PM me I can give you the eBay seller's name who sold me these.

@finprkl Not true.... quality is lossy even during gameplay. The fake WiiMote I bought, can't be used to tune the sensor bar tollerance. So, hope that the sun don't shine on you! ;-)
