Hey Sammy72... You should use both weights and pushups in your workouts. Do them in 'supersets' (do the pushups, then hit the weights without any rest between them).

Can you get "really big" with home workouts? Depends, if you could get really big in a gym then you could get really big doing home workouts. BTW, pushups and pullups can be made as hard as you want, there are easy ways to make them challenging even for advanced bodybuilders.
can pushups help build pull up strength, I tried doing the reverse negatives for pullups but could only do about 5 of them with good form and maybe 2 more after that with rest. After that i couldnt hold myself up at all. Love your videos scooby, thanks alot

I have been working out for quite some time [10-11 years] and I can't maintain my body weight with any diet or exercises. at 18 your metabolism is still very high. if your looking to gain and keep weight eat high in calorie meals BEFORE you go to bed. i have the same problem..although i have bulk now...im still trying to get bulkier
your still young dude. I'm 20, and I have the same prob. I'm 6 ft 3, 195 now, but my highest weight was 207 at 18 years of age, working out 4 times a week. Your still experiencing growth in the body and not every thing is done developing, I think

Its very common for men to have pecs which are not symmetrical. Unless your doctor is concerned, dont worry about it. You can really injure yourself trying to do one armed pec exercises in a futile attempt to even things up. One thing you *can* do is learn how to present yourself, that is, learn to be photogenic. for the last month i've started doing 3 sets of 30 pushups every night with 30 second breaks in between. by the end of october i'll go to 4 sets. i'm 5'10 155 and i'm really trying to burn some fat and put on some muscle. i've seen results but my schedule doesn't give me more than 15 minutes a day to work out. what other kind of push ups should i try????????

not any bigger but i am leaner now and getting more definition. it definitely has improved though. i was suprised at how much push ups do help your abs lol. i'm 5'10 and when i used to work out i was 165 but ever since i stopped i dropped to about 154 so i'm just starting tog et some of that muscle back
The correct form is to lie on your belly with your arms out to the side as far as they will go. Move your middle fingers to where you wrists lie. With your fingers pointed away from your body push up slowly and at a steady pace.
The advance form is to bring the heel of your hand off the ground as far as you can. You must stay controlled if you attempt this or you can hurt yourself.
Muscle milk is a protein shake. It does work obviously because it has protein in it and helps rebuild the muscle. But it has stuff like MSGs that are really bad for your brain in the long-run.

Push ups wont reduce body fat on the chest area ( man boobs ) what you need to do is to have proper nutrition and a cardio routine .
Push up develops pecs but dont reduce body fat .

Muscle milk is a protein shake. It does work obviously because it has protein in it and helps rebuild the muscle. But it has stuff like MSGs that are really bad for your brain in the long-run.

Hey i just wanted that i love your vids. i'm a slim person in ok shape but not body buider wise but i was surprise in one of your comments about having a strong core is important in martial arts. Not too many people know that or aknowledge because many think it's about pure brute strength when it's not. Keep it up!
