Indians use all scales.. but they are mainly focused on rhythm. Yes it is a harmonic minor scale, that doesn't mean indians cant use it now does it :P Awesome song btw.

All those who are fighting over where this is Indian or Arabic are stupid. India and Arabia are close to each other and there hs historically been a lot of "cross-pollination". Plus, when the muslims arrived in the 11th century, they brought their musical influences, which made a lasting impact on Indian music (Amir Khusrao for one). There is no doubt that ragas like Bhairavi have a strong Arabic feel to them. So, you guys are both correct (this is Indian and Arabic) and wrond (to argue).

The raags might come from arabic/islamic history, sometimes the names can tell:

Raag Raag SHIV Kalyan , Raag DURGA.
