That first call on "Calls from the Public" was clearly a jab at Loveline, which was on right before Sifl & Olly, if I recall correctly.

This show was such a treat. MTV went through a brief phase of putting on hilarious no-budget "public access"-style shows like this, but my guess is whoever put this show on the air was fired for having an imagination and not pushing enough marathons of reality shows and game shows.

If only adult swim was a channel.. and dropped most the anime, and picked up the head.. Or maxx... Any of the old stuff we loved. Cartoon sushi was awesome, but i was like 8 lol. So it may not have been that cool. Odd ville was a good show... i think that was the name.

How interesting of a concept it is, that MTV used to have "actual" realiy television shows. This show is from the heart. It's a few guys making jokes. Jackass was a great MTV show, becuase it was real and it was actually happening. Now they've substituted shows like these with what they think are actual "reality" shows like Jersey Shore. It's so blatanly obvious that they've sold out.
