Actually, in this early version, it is red. It was changed to green in later versions, and I've heard it's blue in other ones. A lot of things were changed in certain versions for no real reason.

@OMG11123 Actually there is a reason. They changed it to green for the USA version because we over react over that stuff.... a lot. And in the Virtual Console version they changed the mirror shield symbol. It was a Muslim symbol, and many people complained. They removed it and put in a fictional symbol. And in the fire dungeon they had Muslim singing - this was also removed due to complaints.

Yeah, if you came in like I did, with lower hearts, it heals you up.

@bbandcbandkb Well, I believe it doesn't heal you for the Ganon boss fight... so I believe that's the least they can do. Ganon's weak spot is hard to figure out at first, and he hits insanely hard. Yet the two parts of the boss were very easy, surprisingly.
