  • THIS IS SO AMAZING!!!! Where can I get the copic's and that thing u used to make the bottom part of the eye a lil more shiny?

  • @JAPgally4340 I get mine at otakufuel and I think that's the colorless blender, another copic marker

  • @MangaLessons ok thx so much for the help! You're an amazing artist! ^.^

  • Cooool

  • High five to left handed people xD I always smudge my writing D:

  • I used to miss zkittyz on this channel but now I like the new manga lessons a lot better

  • ...I prefer Mark Crilley's ways tbh XD

  • can u use any paper for this, or do u have to use a special type?

  • @1123animelover you can use technically any paper but the results will be different. copics work best on very smooth paper, and if you're planning to blend a lot, preferably thick. I personally love and use X Press It paper but I've used smooth bristol board before.

  • @MangaLessons oh ok, thanks! ^^

  • omg ur a theif lol jk any ways u draw really good

  • You were using the colorless blender and I was like "nothings happeni- oohhhhhh" XD

  • cool lol

  • Cool

  • cool!

  • thanks i love this photo <3 and i drawing is this photo :D<3

  • @xCARSARESEXY You should have first. How old are you? Eight? Learn to hold your cursing, because kids are watching this. We don't need your useless comments on here. And this was a great tutorial!

  • Cool, pretty eye but what are copics?

  • @SecretAngles00 they're art markers made in japan that are often used by manga artists ^^

  • @MangaLessons where do you buy the copics at?

  • @cleo2010able I buy mine at otakufuel :D

  • @MangaLessons thank you

  • also your video is great

  • Thanks! ;)

  • Where do you by those markers? I have been looking for markers a very long time but i just can't find any.

  • @Katelille ah i bought them online at otakufuel :) there's a much bigger color selection and you can buy sets (you usually can only find a few individual ones in retail stores..)

  • @xCARSARESEXY look your TEN TIMES WORSE SO STOP HATIN ON EVERYBODY ELSE'S WORK WHEN U CAN'T DRAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You suck. At drawing 0_0

  • @xCARSARESEXY Wandering around Youtube for non-sense comments? get a life :)

  • @xCARSARESEXY ohoho how do i keep finding u oh so terrible troll~~~?????? u think u can say that when u cant draw to save ur life? god get a liiiiiiifffffeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @xCARSARESEXY funny comment especially since the person who drew this probably won't even see this. I'm a new artist who took over this channel so I didn't even make this video :)

  • @MangaLessons i don't give a shit asshole and cut that ":)" shit out!

  • @xCARSARESEXY okay sure.

  • @MangaLessons shut your fucking ass up

  • @xCARSARESEXY why are you

yelling at a person who just know how to draw it, do u know how many hours people

take to draw what if it happen to you would you feel good?

  • were do u get copics from

  • @2210jordanclayton You can get them in art supply stores (sometimes), or on Amazon

  • @2210jordanclayton i got mine from otakufuel :)

  • love your coloring .. :D but what kind of white is that ?

  • @J0rgeification its copic opaque white this kind of thick white ink for drawings

  • How much do the products you're using generally cost? I've never seen them before but they seem very useful.

  • @LuvDatLaDiDa they're pretty expensive at around $5 a marker

  • LOVE THE EYE SUBBED!

  • a lot of work goes into an eye......... NOW I WILL FOLLOW YOUR INSTRUCTIONS AND GRAB SOME COPICS!!!

  • how do you get the ink to not go out of the lines? sometimes when i use copics, the ink sorta bleeds out of the lines.. D: i normally dont put in too much ink on the paper... what am i doing wrong? >.<

  • @yayponcho its the paper that causes this... you're probably using just normal printing paper right? I use Xpress It which i recommend but you can also try bristol board smooth :)

  • @MangaLessons ahh ok that explains a lot :D i use the paper from my sketch book. i just checked and it said dry media only xD ok thanks ill try those! :D

  • Ugh, copics are rly expensive, they coast as much as a fursuit head!

  • ....epic o3o man ur good with t he eyes I'm horrible because i keep using deffierent ones and i forget some of them -.-'

  • sooooooooooooo awesome im a artist myself you should check out my videos!

  • @Halomaniac15

If you know what a Sharpie Pen is (The Sharpies with really super fine tips) then the Multiliner is just like that but it is made by the Copic company specialy for drawing with Copics!

    Hope that helped!

  • COPIC opake white? This sounds useful.

I usually just live with it if I make a mistake lol. (luckily this isn't too often so I am all good.)

For inking I usually use Prisma Sensei or Micron(both by Sakura), which I think I have seen you use Micron? Um, anyway, from one artist to another, how do you think those compare to COPIC multiliners? Since I have never used those, though I have seen them on Blick.

  • @Nipeneconeco copic multiliners in my experience have bled less with copic markers. Sakura microns tend to bleed a bit sometimes :P but it also depends on the paper, but if you use copy paper you might not even see a difference... but if you use really smooth paper then i think it does.

  • @MangaLessons Ah, I see! The Micron only bleed a little, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try the multiliner! Thanks btw!

What do you mean by copy paper? Like, printer paper?

  • @Nipeneconeco yes copy paper is printer paper

  • @MangaLessons Ah, okay, sorry for a stupid question ^^U

    But thank you for answering!

  • what store did you get your colors at and what are they called.

  • @lokilani9 got them at an online store called otakufuel

I have lots and lots of colors and i can't possibly name all the names but most of them come from the 72 Set B

  • What exactly is a multiliner?

  • @halomaniac15 its a pen created by copic called copic multiliners ^^ a quick google search should do the trick

  • what kind of paper do you use?

  • @whitefang707 this was probably done on copy paper but I definitely recommend the X Press It paper (which there is a video on in my channel) but also very smooth thick paper will do :)

  • left handers are awsome drawers! YEAH GO LEFT HANDERS!

  • Hi!

Are you using "The manga pack copics" or The "normal" kind of copics? :/

  • @dreamersofie i'm not sure what "manga pack copics" are. They sell some copics in sets, with pre-chosen colors that they think would suit the buyer. However the markers aren't any different from "normal" copics. I use copic sketch markers and my first set was manga wallet A. Not necessarily my most recommended though xD

  • where you get it

  • @allyalexabby123 i got them at otakufuel

  • Where do you get copic markers?

Or what kind of store sells copic markers?

  • @SuperAnimeLoverist i get them on an online store called otakufuel ^^

  • Where can i get that kind of markers?

  • Love your voice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • couldyou also use fineliners instead of copics?

  • yo lo detesto tantos ojos bonitos que hay y la cago con ese

  • **** awesome :D

  • @MangaLessons

    Ok! Thank you!

  • Wow i really want/need those Copic markers but I saw they are REALLY expensive! All I have are my Crayola colored pencils... Lmao

  • @kaypiggies well, you can use a watercolor color pencils and then us copic blend to color over it, I have been doing this for quite a while, and it turns out great, you should look it up on youtube

  • i recently got a few copic markers but i was wondering what is the copic opaque white, where do you get it, what is it used for, and how expesive is it?

  • @AnimeRoxUrSox13 copic opaque white is basically thick white ink that is used for creating white highlights or effects on your drawings, I think its like $10 for a bottle but the bottle is pretty big so I don't think you'll be buying anymore anytime soon xDD

I usually get all my copic stuff at otakufuel and especially for things like opaque white since I can't really find them in stores...

  • how much have you spent on copics and are they worth it?

  • @ThisisHetalia this isn't the original creator of this video but me personally I think I spent somewhere between $100-$150 on them

and considering people get like iphones, ds's, ps3, xboxes that are around that price or more expensive its not that crazy to spend that much on something i really enjoy ^^ So I would say I'm happy with them

  • U r amazing ,, thanx 4 share

  • What set is it`? A, B. C or D? You know, the copy markers.? :)

  • @DoGo1Love I have multiple sets but primarily the 72 B set

  • Wow, your hand is so steady. My hand is pretty steady but I still must take my time :b and I think it's cool that you're left handed. Good job, nice details by the way.

  • you're left handed?!

  • wow beautiful but the markers are VEEEEERy expensive !!!! toooooo much expensive right??

  • *Sights* Oh my gosh ya with my course of money I'll never gonna get so much Copics!! T_T

I WILL NEED MONTHS TO GET A 134 BUCKS! DX

  • Awesome

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!!!! You're amazing artist :3

  • One word " Dammm"! Love it !

  • lefty ftw!

  • @Aquinoox love your vid's<3 especially earthquake

  • LEFTY'S FOREVER :3

  • Where can I buy copic markers?

  • @mangagirl881 there's a link in the description of where I buy mine :)

  • @MangaLessons TY!

  • @MangaLessons wait, y are they so much!!! =.=

  • @mangagirl881 they're pretty expensive.. ciao's are cheaper though keep in mind that copic markers are high professional quality ^^

  • 15 dislikes?! stupid!!! ?_!

  • Who clicks on dislike? stupid?!

  • Can ya do this with any maker ?.?

  • @112chill you can try but it won't blend correctly

  • I can do that with Crayola Markers lol

  • will it be ruined if i use black pentel pen cuz im out of black! >.< ?

  • @YoImGotholika no but it would look a bit weird XD

  • i use your eyes in all my drawings now i think your amazing! you should be proud! i have a video up of a few of my drawings please could you have a look and see what you think thankyou<3

  • i'm so jealous of you :( copics, perfect drawing.. :):):)

  • -grabby hands- * 4 * I want...

  • I LOVE IT!! its soo cute! and also where can i buy the copy markers?

  • @Animeandvidgamesrock ah they're called copic markers and I buy mine at otakufuel and there should be a link in the description :)

  • @MangaLessons oh okay thx for correcting me and thank you for telling me where you got them! ^_^

  • go lefties ><

  • nice nails

  • thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i subbed! ♥ im ALWAYS trying to color manga eyes but i FAIL. hehe i make polymer clay! :)

  • Can you buy those pens in England? :/

  • I see an anime artist

  • 6 minutes just for that ??? O.O When are you going to finish the draw...?

  • @razvi2best904 it does take a lot of time to draw a full good drawing, detail is essential ;)

  • @everybody I'm pretty sure you can buy these kind of markers at hobby stores, but the only place I am absolutely sure of that sells them is conspiracy comics.

  • Awesome Markers..

  • awsome marker

  • I like it... :) ur left handed I just noticed

  • keep on drawing

  • umm it was nice coloring but the white thingy color messed it up in my opion its was good though-is an artist ;)

  • If I was going to make a video on how to not use copics, this would be it. The u-shaped highlight on the bottom should be done first. In fact, just always work light to dark. The linework is ugly. And if you're going to rely on opaque white, don't bother drawing in the highlight to begin with.

  • @lovetheb0mb copics can be colors both from dark to light, and from light to dark. The most popular is from light to dark though due to the ease and the natural feel of color building. I will admit zkittyz was being a bit redundant with the opaque white but whatever floats her boat right? Linework isn't that great, yep. But hey she isn't a pro :)

  • when you said "super similar" at 0:30 i finaly understood our type.

  • ???? :P horrible :P

  • how much expierience should you have before trying manga eyes? also do the sell copic ciao markers anywhere else other than otakufuel?

  • @Xxanimeluver4everzxX yes, you'll have to look around for them yourself though ^^;

  • what kind of paper are you using? bristol?

  • @ninjagaidenfreak08 I'm not too sure on what paper zkittyz is using here..

  • @ninjagaidenfreak08 zkittyz was probably using copy paper though she's admitted it doesn't achieve the best results

  • i wish if i could afford copic markers

    they r just damn excpensive

  • wow cool markers i never use them. how much do they cost?

  • @annagong963 Copic ciao markers are about $3.50 a marker (at otakufuel at least)

  • What about promarkers?

  • @Mangobitz I've never heard of or tried promarkers but all I know is that copic is the most trusted and popular brand of art markers and I love them <3 If promarkers have a brush tip and alochol based ink I suppose they would be similar? They might have a different feel to them too or less colors

  • @MangaLessons There kind of the same, just cheaper and don't add that "shiny affect" :P

  • @MangaLessons One day I want to be a cartoonist/manga drawer, and I was wondering if I could say you are my inspiration and teacher when that day comes? I love your work, you are truly inspirational!!

  • @131ILIKEPIE ah I'd be honored though I think that may be aimed towards zkittyz and not me (oh right now I'm using my personal account not the Mangalessons account) zkittyz handed the account over to me :)

  • @MangaLessons they have tips like the copic originals they are very thick come in less colors(promarker have 148 copic is around 300-400) and are alochol based.

  • you should play some music in the backround, just to give your videos a bit of spark!!! ♥

  • you are a amazing artist! keep it up!

  • I don't know about any of this at all! XD I was like "WTH IS B26?!! GAH" I got a long way to go -w-

  • OH MY GOSH!!! These colors are PRETTY!!!

  • how do you angle the camera?

  • copics ar exspensive, my mom said if my art gets better i get them for christmas

  • Now I want some Copics!

  • FUU i forgot to buy a blender T__T

  • Sharpies works too? or has to be copiecs?

  • @xManuuuz I would not recommend sharpies. I would even recommend crayola more than sharpies because the colors come out better. But copics will belnd the best and you will attain the best results and have that "shiny" feel to it

  • @MangaLessons Thanks =) imma get em and show u my result xD

  • @MangaLessons by any chance, are watercolour based pens ok?

  • @xManuuuz

I know Im intruding but I've heard that prismacolors are good too

  • @HPtookovermylife Ill try those too, thanks

  • Are you zKittyz?

    You sound like her

  • @Quake998 This video was created by zkittyz *points to description* She was the former host of mangalessons.

  • Y U SO PRO ?!?

  • do they ship to the EU? and is the Origanal's the ones you can refill?

  • @freakofnature1yo if you mean europe, sadly otakufuel does not ship to there.

All of the copics are refillable :)

  • @MangaLessons damn...but copic ciao's arnt right

  • @freakofnature1yo copic ciao's actually are. I meant it when I said all of them ^^

The only difference is that not all of them are airbrush compatible :P That's one of the differences b/t sketch and ciao. Also sketch holds more ink, has the number/name on the cap/oval shaped so it won't roll around/comes in more colors. Ciaos.. mm well they're cheaper and you can stack the cap on the back of the marker! (the only pros lol)
