good one. but notice how the original effect does NOT have a spark randomly going through air and ending at a point that you can "follow" with your eyes. Instead there are very short bursts of sparks which fade away. if you want to use continuous sparks, you should choose objects or surfaces that would logically "ground" the current, like your fingers, your ring maybe (if you wear any) something that comes close by etc.

3 things

1) Bad perspective you can't proper show the lighting you might try to brake the

points of the lighting make them less saturated further away from the cam and make it form elipses not lines

2)Light the hand also not constant but in accordance with the fluctuation of light

3)Put some fingers in front of the light and then light them with a rim light

good enough but if you want to see it profesional way you have some mistakes like thunder sparks are not lines are elipse they are going out and they are going in again and they never pass the havds botom and go to sides ....mistake no2 you need some lights effects and some blur only a little bit and try to hide the ball with your fingers it will be more intresting :D I look foward for your remake!! :D

Try to make it look like the lightning is interacting with the envirement... by that I mean letting it cast a blue light on your shirt and arm ;)

but you don't use any light casting on your hand

and you didn't mask your hand,

if you watch the original you can see the lighting ball goes behind her fingers, and you also see there is much more blue light on her fingers, this would make the effect much more believable. although it's a bit time consuming.

VERY GOOD! the only thing is, that all lightning bolts should have a destination within your hand, example: each lightning bolt should be going in and out of one of your fingers. Rather then just out to nowhere. Still, this is like the best one ive ever seen.
