when I tropes window color and appearance it only opens advance settings and I don't know how to get normal settings to open someone please help I feel stupid I dont know how to fix this
Sorry, but I think this is fake. A mouse cursor can't appear in a BSOD for one reason.. Stop messages are hard coded 80x50 text modes, they can't show any graphics at all, and even if it was a graphical mode, it would be in 640x480 16 colors, the mouse cursor shown has a drop shadow, and is the 32-bit Windows 7 cursor. Everything about it is wrong.
Sorry, but I worked with Microsoft on their BETA and have the BETA, and tried it, nothing happens at all.
@hakemon You're so full of shit. If you really *did* work for MS, you'd know BSoDs are from NTOSKRNL.exe, meaning it's entirely possible for a cursor to show up. This guy has seen the same thing: watch?v=EVlMjFJYh-4
@Psythik I never said I worked FOR Microsoft, I said I worked with Microsoft. Yes, the blue screen comes from the kernel executable, but it's in a 80x50 text mode. If this is real, snap a pic of the monitors info screen when it comes up.
Even wikipedia has it right this time: In Windows NT-based operating systems, the Stop error, (which is displayed in 80-column 50-line text mode) occurs when the kernel, or a driver running in kernel mode, encounters any error from which it cannot recover.
Pause at 0:33, you can see the mouse. The mouse MOST DEFINITELY WILL NOT SHOW ON A BSOD, regardless of whether it is an alpha, beta, RC, or RTM release. Fake. - Robert F, MCSE
Pause at 0:33, you can see the mouse. The mouse MOST DEFINITELY will not show on a BSOD, regardless of whether it is an alpha, beta, RC, or RTM release. - Robert F, MCSE
@TNFlightNurse Thank you, that's what I'm saying, it's text mode, it's not going to have a mouse cursor, especially if the kernel crashed, it can't read the mouse interrupts anyway.
@DanielChristy19 It was a BETA. Beta means that it's possible for things to not work the way they're supposed to. Try for yourself if you don't believe me. And if you can come up with any ways for me to prove to you that this is real, by all means inform me. I have no problems with making a follow-up video.
@Psythik sorry. i didn't mean to be mean, but i guess you were using virtualbox or something. i have a video of a bug that is in the retail version. i hope you dont think this is spam
@Kevincat2 Nope, not virtualbox at all. I simply installed it like a normal OS (in fact, I used it as my primary OS since it was better than Vista). For some reason the cursor stayed behind when you got a BSoD in the Beta. Simple as that.
"Windows 7 is the shit, by the way, I made a little jingle using ONLY Windows 7 system sounds...check it out on my page..." - you are no normal ! shit ? hahaah you are noob
@mushroomhead104 The retail version of Windows 7, a.k.a. the one you buy from the store (and comes with all new computers). The Beta expired a long time ago, so I'm surprised you are even able to run it.
I'm not trying to annoy anyone or piss them off but this is exactly what beta builds are for; to track down bugs like this. Every bit of software goes through this process.
