  • All chinese esp those idiots like Ai Wei Wei, Liu Xiao Bo, Hu Jia, Falungong must wake up and realise that the West is on the offensive to bring chaos to China by playing up human rights, South China Sea dispute, screwing up Chinese investment in Africa, Libya especially.

They don't just give Peace Prize for nothing.

  • 咱总理说话就是有态度

  • @zcyier yes

  • OK nowv this site can see the rmb rate

  • Powerful words from Wen, especially the last words, almost a threat.

  • @samfisherman007 how the did you get a threat by him telling the truth? Bad news meaning all the assets will depreciate and many international companies invested in China would collapse on top of that the return of immense poverty to China. Get your head out of your ass and stop trying to hint that China is threatening because she's not. Cunts like you are so quick to create scapegoats......remind you of anything say fucking western history?

  • @overcastingasshole alright overcasting "ASSHOLE"

  • @EUXTV Wen Jiabao is his name... his title is Premier of the People's Republic of China

  • What the PM said at the end of the speech about their fear of social turmoil if the RMB rate is raised is very revealing.

The Chinese government has to act as an aggressive power in defiance of America in order to keep the support of its enormously large number of economically disadvantaged citizens. By keeping the target on us Westerners, it keeps the target away from the political totalitarianism that has taken hold of their government...

  • @dkmo so basically youre saying the chinese government is telling its people to blame the west, that it's the west's motive to bring them down etc etc? that they shouldnt hate their authoritarian government etc etc?

IF that is the case, then it still pales in comparison with how the west antagonizes china.

and in either case, china still doesnt want turmoil, thus they manipulate their currency to prevent it. no blame goes to anyone, right?

  • @dkmo look how usa blames china for a crisis that's caused by americans. lol.

but no, that's not enough. just as what others have commented here already, it's about trying to contain china's economy. theyre getting far too strong, too fast, with all this money. the people are relatively poor, but the state is rich.

with all the chaos that america has been causing around this world, i think just maybe, JUST MAYBE, having people or government being defiant of america is not a bad thing at all...

  • China is a manipulator. They intervene in their currency to KEEP IT STABLE AGAINST USD.

USA is a big manipulator. They caused the economic crisis, and now they simply want to create jobs by printing dollar and pour it to the market. They call it quantitative easing.

Europe is a HYPOCRITE. At one face they support the USA's manipulation of currency, but at the the other face, they against China's manipulation.

So, China=evil; USA=big evil; Europe=2-face-evil. They are all evil.

  • @halim181276 I will be more agreeable with you if you add governments into your equations.

  • @halim181276 I really love your comments. good works

  • You are wrong. Europe has never supported the QE2 of the USA. Have you forgotten, how the Germans called it "clueless"

  • @halim181276 i like this one.

  • China without human nature.

  • @MrZacao Yes, and USA has tons of it

  • fuckin hate that bastard barroso

  • Could someone please answer this question? I read that Mr Wen Jiabao, China's Premier said, "Chinese export companies had very small profit margins". Why can't the Chinese exporters put up their prices? If Chinese exporters were not so competitive against each other they could make more profit on the goods they export, or if they are competing with other countries then why can't they just undercut them?

  • @nniiggeell go send a letter to War-mart's purchasing managers to not to be so picky when choosing suppliers. :)

  • Typical of the Americans to blame all U.S economic problems on China, epic fail.

  • @wnxsilence Question to ask yourself is who controls both central banks. Once you understand that they are privately owned then you may set your mind free as to who is running the show.

Seek the truth on Government Banking and lending which was started in the mid to late 1700's by one family.

  • All this BS about rising the RMB got nothing to do with boosting the US economy or making US more comparative. If China rise the value of the RMB all the corporations will just move their factories to another country with cheaper labor like Vietnam or India, they will never going back to the US. The US just want to contain China economy.

  • America shouldn't lecture China on how to properly aid global rebalancing and world recovery.

It was the greedy bankers who over leveraged risky assets to people who cannot pay them back that imploded the housing bubble and caused this world crisis to begin with.

China should not listen to the US, arrogant enough to cause a recession, then ask for help to get out of it by screwing up China's economy.

  • @Phead128 Be MORE SPECIFIC! It was the greedy AMERICAN bankers.

They screwed up themselves and tried to blame on others. Just like their British ancestors in the Opium War! immoral upon immorality!

  • @Phead128 hahaha, thats so funny. Greedy bankers huh? Yeah I don't doubt that bankers are greedy but you're not seeing the forest through the trees pal. Maybe I can explain it a lil better: It was the "greedy" politicians (Liberals) who forced the banks to give loans to people that couldn't afford a house. Let me name a few of them, Chuck Shumer, Barney Frank, Barbara Boxer, HArry Reid, etc. Should I continue or maybe you should admit you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

  • The US just wants China to help them out of the recession faster and to boost its economy such rats. Dumb Americans got into their financial crisis themselves because of their poorly unregulated financial system. Don't believe me? Do some research

  • The government of the USA killed too many people, so they have already insensitived to the life and death of others! if the chinese economic Great Wall collapse, it crushes not only Chinese to death anyway. American, we will meet in 2012 .

  • I strongly believe that Asian people will work with Asian policies as I totally agree the fact that Western policies are made for the interest of Westerner. If we raise the RMB rates ,what will happen next? Sure, People in every country will suffer first as they have to pay more money to buy the same thing that are imported from China. Moreover, Asian economy will meet the yucky taste of recession if we apply those Westerners' words without consideration.

  • Good for China! Do not let the new communist government of the USA tell you what to do.

  • NOT IMF owned yet?

  • It seems that Wen can afford to make predictions that Barroso can't afford to make, because in his case they'd sound more credible.

  • @EUXTV , you have meanwhile corrected the title. Previously it was "China's Jiabao ...", which sounded similar to "Europe's Manuel".

  • Comment removed

  • In the current inviroment it´s only natural for china to stick to it´s fixed rate system. The floated system is rigged anyway so why hand over the power china has in form of US gov debt? Why let it inflate away?
