Just felt the need to say that. ~

  • This song was so epic when played in the Frieza saga. The spirit bomb was their last hope against him, and the theme fit that perfectly

  • Spirit Bomb victims:

    Vegeta (Survived)

    Dr. Wheelo

    Turles

    Lord Slug

    Frieza (Survived)

    Android 13

    Majin Buu

    Omega Shenron

  • @Hydroxoid you missed hatchiyack

  • number 1 reason i refuse to watch kai

    no Bruce Faulconer

  • My favorite part is 5:18!

  • this is awesome

  • I feel like I should be lifting my arms to the sky right now.....so I am.

  • Everyone give me green thumbs or your gonna diee!!!!!!

  • Why anyone would upload a "720p HD" mono track is beyond me..

  • This song is also played when Gohan is pwning the Cell Jrs.

  • This is the 'you know shits about to go down song', right up there with vegeta's theme as best song in dbz.

  • you can feel the tension...

  • Buu: -.- ...fuck...

  • love the part at 1:37

  • lets see vegeta frieza buu omega shenron super 13 cell lord slug turles and king kai. plus 3 more haters hit the dislike bar because they either got hit with the spirit bomb or they cant do the spirit bomb like goku can

  • Comment removed

  • Freza's been smurfing on multiple accounts, thats why there's nine dislikes

  • Any time I hear the part at 1:37 I always picture the balls of spirit energy arcing over the landscape towards Goku.

  • @2:05....'nuff said.

  • Also Dr.Gero pushed it once :DDD

  • Why is there a dislike option on this video? Some kind of mistake?

  • @Trude174 i don't think cell or buu ever got owned to this music. could be wrong tho.

  • Android 13, Buu, Frieza Omega Shenron and Turles pressed the Dislike button! xD

  • @TheZeldd What about vegeta?

  • @TheUndeadAndrew tthey were just 5 if vegeta pressed the dislike button it would be 6... shh, let's just hope no one listen to use... xD

  • i think turles and dr nero and android 13 were the other 3 other than buu and frieza that pressed the dislike button

  • alright ty for download link :O now i dont have to pay fucking itunes... god dam son of a bitches making money out of bruce's songs

  • watchin the DBZ kai episode where Goku makes the spirit bomb against frieza and im just linking this music with the show...cause Bruce Faulconer>DBZ Kai music

  • @Godzilla1282 Not all the time

  • I'am not really a fan of Faulconer's music, but I'am curious to hear how it would sound mixed with the Japanese dialogue.

  • @Johnnybomb1 japenese music is filthy

  • @123321hg /watch?v=yJVdZQx4zjI

  • Vegeta, Frieza, Buu, and Omega Shenron disliked this.

  • I think that Bruce Faulconer's music becomes superior to the Japanese music beginning with the Frieza saga. This is a perfect example of that. It's just so fucking epic.

  • @gamingsoul11 Bruce Faulconer's music in only superior in the Frieza Saga

  • @xNukexGoxBoomx watch?v=FiUKsN7V3sU

  • Who cares I hate dub arguments to each his own they all have their moments I for one think this is amazing

  • 2:03 3:00 best part

  • I agree with Devils Rebellion, what balls do they have stealing our show if it was perfect the way it is

  • 1st pic = Lord Slug

    2nd pic = Frieza

    3rd pic = Super android 13

    4th pic = Kid Buu

  • Thumbs up if you like how it starts to break down at 1:38

  • Do you know by any chance know the theme AFTER Goku transforms to SSJ3 for the first time by Bruce Faulconer?

  • @spartahog

    Hyperbolic Time chamber theme

  • 4:12 to around 5:20 is my favourite part just how it really shows the godly power the genki dama can posses

  • Bruce Faulconer pretty much stylised 80% of the DBZ dub... Making it a truly memorably interpretation

  • I think Frieza hit the Dislike button.

  • @Kratosaurion9001 u mean buu because he got killed by a sprit bomb

  • @JCKOMBAT Frieza seemed more right when I said it but Buu works as well.

  • @Kratosaurion9001 All four forms

  • @Kratosaurion9001 and then also buu and shenron

  • @Kratosaurion9001 frieza and vegeta cuz they are the only ones who survived to tell the tale XD

  • @Kratosaurion9001 nah i think its cell

  • @narutogoamasterdan How do you think that? Cell didn't even get a chance to face his spirit bomb.

  • @narutogoamasterdan cell did use it just type in cells gay moment and you should find it. I'm dead serious it was after he transformed and started bragging about his body.

  • @Kratosaurion9001 and cell. and cooler. and buu. and raditz. and nappa.and majin vegeta

  • @Kratosaurion9001 shut up with the dislikes!!!

  • This is my childhood show

    i'll never forget it

    and i'm glad i won't

  • people..of the earth.....RAISE YOUR HANDS UP RIGHT NOW OR YOUR ALL GOING TO DIE!!!

  • imagine being in goku's place and frieza in front of you while playing this song ~ scary

  • i play this song when i work out.

  • I like how the music switches between an ethereal "this is the energy of all living beings" vibe to "we got a fucking mission to do."

  • @SuperMelon1 IKR It's what makes the song more and more epic.

  • @SuperMelon1 This man didn't just come up with his own perfectly unique style, but he pays attention to plot and theme and setting to the degree required to pull that off.

Art. Some music isn't. This IS.

  • @HotaruZoku I <3 the music along with the 1st funimation dub this puts you in it the japanese music may be original but not necessarily the best

  • @WillBridge4Ever True that.

  • The coolest thing about this technique is that it required patience and a pure heart.

  • 1:37 - 2:02 = pure awsomeness!

  • one person was hit by the spirit bomb. (sorry couldn't resist lol)

  • @kevin141690 i usually hate this kind of comments but that one made my day xD

  • @Ave6192 lol likewise, this is the first time' i've done it, but I just had to lol it seemed to fit so perfectly.

  • @kevin141690 that's because it's only 1 person

it's not funny if it's "50120 people were hit by a spirit bomb"

this joke is ment for a 1 person dislike but trolls jest don't know when to quit

  • @Ave6192 You're exactly right about that. I couldn't have said it any better.

  • 4:11

    It's ready.

  • intense

  • Could you please upload the Japanese version of when Goku does the Spirit Bomb, I'm a big fan of the American DBZ music but that Japanese Spirit Bomb song is awesome.

  • The only thing DBZ Kai has going for it are the better voiceovers (the actors have had ten years of practice) and the new script (it's a lot deeper than the original.)

But the new music, censorship, and lack of suffecient action make it inferior to the original. Still, it's better than the Ocean Dub or the motherf**king Toonzai version.

  • i love the part at :20 though i loved it through the frieza saga and of course the cell game saga

  • 1:41 is the best part in this song ^_^

  • People are actually blowing a gasket because Kai didn't keep this music in? Really? Wow...

  • The music is as powerful as a spirit bomb.

  • they played this alot during the frieza saga,i think thats wen it first played too, either that or wen he did the spirit bomb the first time on earth against vegeta cant really remember

  • 4:10-4:35 is epic

but the whole theme is cool

  • goku's ULTIMATE ace in the hole.

  • dbkai wud b so much better with Bruce falconer

  • dbkai wud b so much better with bruce falconer

  • epic music

  • When all else fails the spirit bomb is our last hope!!!

  • i love the part at 1:38-1:54

  • I know thw whole song is the bomb especially when the time goes from 2:02-2:59 and 4:12-6:33 are the best parts to me but most of all many thanks to Bruce for all the badass soundtrack for the DBZ Universe!!

  • you couldnt hear most of this music on a tube tv, cable television and all the screaming they did. it wasnt until the orange boxes came out on dvd and going to the audio menu and select english stereo thats when i noticed how awesome the music was in my new surround sound system, its a great investment.

  • so this is what heaven sounds like.

  • Come on, confess. How many people here raised their hands in the air while playing this theme, like they are gathering up energy or lending their strength to Goku. I know I did. And I'm proud of it. Thumbs up if true.

  • there was no supersayin in slug movie

  • Can't everyone see? THIS is the reason why Dragon Ball Z Kai fails. Not only does it have weird voice actor replacements, but it doesn't harness the true power of Bruce Faulconer's music. This is absolutely Legendary. This is epic. This is Oscar-Worthy. This is what I remembered as a child.

  • @DevilRebellion agreed 100% mate

  • @SuperDivinefist Glad to hear, man. Thanks for backing me up. :)

  • @DevilRebellion

Agreed. One of the most epic moments was watching Gohan destroy Cell with the aid of Vegeta. I watched that episode with the original Japanese music and it totally sucked.

Goku turning SSJ3 is another moment to be mentioned. Really a good example of how editing the original CAN make it better.

  • @Zevvion I'm glad somebody agrees with me. If people perfer the Japanese music, that's cool. But there are so many moments where the North American music just succeeds on epic proportions. Example:

-Goku powering the Spirit Bomb agains't Frieza

    -Ginyu and Goku switch bodies

-Goku becomes a Super Saiyan for the first time

-Vegeta becomes a Super Saiyan for the first time

    -Gohan's Father-Son Kamehameha Wave

    -Goku's Super Saiyan 3 Transformation

    -Goku beats Kid Buu

  • @DevilRebellion

Agreed on all. There are more though. But I think people tend to like the original more because it´s the original. Even though they actually like it less in reality. They ´try´ to like it more.

The Faulconer track is just more action and emotional oriented; instead of the original music's background cover function. But maybe, judging from your handle, you prefer that more personally. Devil May Cry am I right?

  • @Zevvion lol my account, right? nice. but yes, I perfer the Faulconer track. Probably because I grew up with it. But I'll tell you this: I restarted watching the series, starting with the original Dragon Ball series. And throughout the whole series, the music in the Japanese version and the north american version are the exact same and sounds very japanese-like. So, when I move to DBZ, it'll feel weird, because I'll be listing to the Faulconer music, which I haven't heard in a while.

  • @DevilRebellion THANK YOU!!!!! THEY SHOULD OF BROUGHT OLD BRUCE BACK WHO KNOWS WHAT AWESOME BADASS REMIXES HE COULD OF MADE!!

    (ALL CAPS)

  • @KuroshioKaze True, but Dragon Ball Z Kai fails for several other reasons. The voice acting is somewhat weird and I hate Gohan's voice. And I got 4 words for you: MISTER POPO IS BLUE! Why is he blue?!?!?!

He's suppose to be black. I don't care if it was for racial consideration. It sucks!

  • @DevilRebellion THEY MADE HIM BLUE!?! WTF!? AGGH! funimation has gone soft, douchers!

  • @KuroshioKaze Well, it's because Dragon Ball Z Kai is on children stations like 4Kids and Nicktoons and Funimation is trying to avoid contraversy. Yes, I hate Mr. Popo when he's blue. He's suppose to be black. I will always remember him as black.

  • @DevilRebellion so Bruce Faulconer is still doing Dbz Kai music? or is it the guy who did the Remastered Dbz seasons 1-2)?

  • @optimusprime105 Buce Faulconer had no sort contribution to DBZ Kai's music or production, in general. That's why I don't like DBZ Kai: Because it doesn't have Bruce Faulconer's music. The music in DBZ Kai isn't even the guy in who did the menu music from the Remastered DBZ box sets.

  • @DevilRebellion well that sucks. I would have been happy if the guy that did the Remastered series menu, had done it

  • @DevilRebellion When I first started watching DBZ Kai, I thought it was all right. Then, I heard Gohan's voice. It's like nails on a chalkboard.

  • @gamingsoul11 I often TRY to watch it whenever see that it's on, but end up switching the channel after 10 minutes.

  • @DevilRebellion FUCK YEAH!!!

  • @AsianCheeseSteak Agreement identified! Thanks for the support. :)

  • @DevilRebellion Ur Comment is Amazing but I'm really depressed because Bruce's Music is only on Remastered Sets and not in Dragon Box yet Dragon Box only has the dull Jap Music so should I buy every Remastered DVD because I get the feeling there done with Bruce because his not in Dragon Box and also not in shitty Kai Version? What Should I Get?

  • @BlackWall500 I have the nine regular remastered boxes. I WAS GOING to get the Dragon Box sets, but when I found out that there was none of Bruce's music on it, I changed my mind. I only tolerate the japanese music for Dragon Ball, because it works. But not with Dragon Ball Z. I grew up listening to Bruce's awesome music. DBZ isn't the same without it. My dream is that one day, the DBZ seasons will be released on Blu-Ray, top notch quality and WITH Bruce's music.

  • @DevilRebellion Hey Thats My Dream too! XD

and also for Kai to get Cancelled! lol

Anyway Sub to my good friend "DBKaiSucks"

    He Adores Bruce's Music!

  • @BlackWall500 I keep trying to give Kai second chances, but everytime I put it on (cause I have Nickelodeon), it keeps throwing shit right back at me. It's like it's TRYING to piss me off. Gohan's voice sucks and Frieza's voice sucks. I heard what music they played during the Spirit Bomb scene, which replaced this music...oh god...its terrible. The music in this YouTube video kicks its ass so hard.

  • @DevilRebellion I know what u mean dude Everytime I listen to Gohan it feels like theres blood coming right out of my ears and Frieza's is Terrible and Jeice!

I FUCKING HATE DBZ KAI!!!! I fuckin hate there Music too! and There Graphics are so Shitty!

  • @BlackWall500 I swear, DBZ Kai is pure rapage to my childhood. The DBZ I remembered better get its Blu-Ray release. Because the DBZ i grew up with and love is MORE THAN WORTHY of my Blu-Ray collection.

  • @DevilRebellion I know! I really hope Kai gets cancelled! It's Ripping My Childhood apart!

  • @DevilRebellion

How're you enjoying those rose tinted glasses?

  • @kinggimpy Excuse me? Rose Tinted glasses? I don't get it.

  • @DevilRebellion

To view something through rose tinted glasses means to let nostalgia get in the way of how you see things. If you prefer Falconer's music (although I don't see why anyone would personally). that's one thing.

But to wish for the show to be cancelled even though it is a better dub and moves at a better pace simply because you do not like it, is fucking stupid.

  • @kinggimpy I never said I wished the new show was cancelled. That was the other guy.

But me personally? Yes, in my eyes, the original will always be better than the new dub. But it is only natural and only human for me to view this through rose tinted glasses (still never heard that one before).

Let's not forget that the original came out 21 years ago. I'm just a little upset that they reintroduced it the way they did.

  • @DevilRebellion yea you gotta remember though that the original dbz took so long to air on american tv that by the time the freiza saga started in 2000 or so, around that time the funi dub took place and the ocean dub was being replaced...how do you think people felt about the ocean dub being replaced by the funi dub? everyone loved the funi dub but the ocean dub probably stuck with a lot of people...so let's just let the little kids have their fun with the new one lol

  • @terryAutry I agree with you about that. But Ocean Dub and Funimation dub are pretty much the same. It's the same voice actors and stuff. Only Goku and Vegeta changed. But the reason they changed was because the ocean dub voice actors left halfway through the series anyway. And as far as the show taking forever to come to North America, yes you are right. But I own all the episodes on DVD box sets. So, it doesn't bother me. I don't have to WAIT to see the episodes. :)

  • @DevilRebellion I had all the dbz and inuyasha episodes, i had it all when I was in iraq...the only thing I liked about funi dub was vegeta and goku's voice actors, with vegeta's deep voice and evil laugh and wicked smirk like he was about to jack someone up lol. Actually if you think about it, I think kid Gohan has a female voice actor just like kid Goku in GT, kind of sucks and some people think freiza is a girl LOL.

  • @terryAutry Kid Gohan and Kid Goku are the same voice actress, actually. lol

And yeah, I love Vegeta's awesome deep voice. And yes, people think Frieza is a girl sometimes, because he has a sadistic evil voice. Speaking of which, have you heard Frieza's voice in DBZ Kai? It's a little more masculin, but it sounds awful. lol

  • @DevilRebellion no i watched a few episodes and noticed it seemed so dull..speaking of which, if you watch funi dub where freiza transforms to one of his other forms on namek, the one where he resembles king cold, with the horns, he sounds like his father King Cold....probably the same voice actor since King Cold only appeared in a few episodes later on down the road...Frieza is a guy though since King Cold calls him son

  • @terryAutry yes, yes, yes I KNOW Frieza's a guy. I've been a fan of DBZ for 12 years now, man.

  • @DevilRebellion Probably cuz DBZ kai airs on a nick or whatever and since anime used to air on cartoon network it had different ratings and now it's more kid oriented where as dbz had much more violence back in the day...plus in some american versions you'd see the openings that showed blood, i dont even watch dbz kai, i'd watch the ocean dub over that any day LOL

  • @terryAutry lol agreed. i rather sit through the filters that the original DBZ has. It's what i grew up with. It builts up suspense and anticipation.

  • @DevilRebellion You should Win an Oscar for this Comment! Beautiful Stuff! Fuck DBZ Kai!

DBZ is Legend! I hope ur Comment will show those Manga Fanboys not to mess with Bruce!

  • @BlackWall500 Yo man, your comment reply TOTALLY just made my day. Thank you so much. Yeah, DBZ Kai is more like the manga, but I didn't grow up reading the manga. I grew up listening to Bruce's beautiful music that no other cartoon is powerful enough to handle. Only DBZ can handle such Godly and Epicful notes.

  • @DevilRebellion Thank you for supporting the filler and Falconer music! The only thing redeemable about Kai is the better script and voice acting (not the new voices, but the way the original cast reworked them. The new Over 9000 scene is amazing.)

  • @rabbitlove4ever Yeah, i will admit the script is a little more well-written but hearing the new voice actors is painful to my ears. Luckily, its the same Piccolo, Vegeta and Goku and all those voice actors do a good job in Kai. And I have not seen the new Over 9000 scene, but I'll be sure to check it out.

  • @DevilRebellion

Yes thank GOD we have the same Vegeta. I love Chris Sabat with a passion.

And his Over 9000 in Kai is better. In the original he was like, "It's over 9000 AAAAGHH" like he had an orgasm or something. XD

  • @rabbitlove4ever lol couldn't agree more with everything you said. And yes, I saw the Over 9000 in Kai. I looked it up. And yes, its much better than when he did it for the Remastered Sets and it sounded like an orgasm. XD

  • @DevilRebellion Yep! :)

    Fuck DBZ Kai!

  • @BlackWall500 Peace, Bro! :)

  • @DevilRebellion

    ITs fruitless......

Kai is pure gargbage and it really doesn't do anything for the Manga like people suggests...

  • @SkywarpMach7 THANK YOU! OMG thank you for saying that! You just made my day! Your agreement is well appreciated. :)

  • @DevilRebellion Actually dude , stop trying to get on DBKAI , They did nothing , it's for kids.

Take the prayer that they actually put a type of Dragonball on television dude. It's about the action and epicness , not about the music. How many times have you heard people babble on about the graphics and action in a video game? Thats what it's like on DBKAI , so stop trying to be an ass , and just take the prize Akira gave to you , Dragonball Kai on television.

  • @UltimateBudokai It's not just the music that makes me hate DBKai. It's everything about it. Mr. Popo is blue, replaced voice actors sound like balls, any form of blood taken out and even cropping some of the enjoyable moments out. And for kids? Please. Want a cool show for kids? How bout something original and not something already awesome and then butchered to death!?

  • @UltimateBudokai First of all , get your facts straight. You know why you should?

CW11's Toonzai made Popo blue , Toonzai edited it , Toonzai made DBKAI suck ass.

Nicktoons is an perfect-example to show that you're an asshole. DBKAI was ment to be the way it is , so what they did was actually make it better. How are they supposed to know what you like and don't like?

It's not their fault. It's the fans fault bitchin' over things.

  • @UltimateBudokai if u think DB kai is good then ur a bitch

  • @DevilRebellion But actually this is not the original at all -.-, this theme isn't in the japanese version at all.

  • @WeReH0G135 Alright then, let me rephrase myself: "The Original English Version".

    How's that?

  • @DevilRebellion Well.. you do got a point there but original DBZ is actually in japanese :P

  • @WeReH0G135 I know that. :P

I just perfer the english version's first music. The japanese music makes the cartoon seem too old-fashion and kung-fuish. To me, it worked with the original Dragon Ball. But I grew up watching DBZ with the english music. That's why I perfer it. :)

  • @DevilRebellion Yup your right, the japanese version was actually older than the english one. That's why it was a bit old-fashioned with it's soundtracks.

  • Comment removed

  • @ukguy lol okay, now you are just splitting hairs. Do we really need to get so literal?

And by the way, I live in Canada. This music played in the Canadian version as well. :P

  • @DevilRebellion and the UK version.

    nostalgia for me too.

  • @ukguy no we didnt i cant remember ever watching dbz with jap music on tv

  • :D awesome

  • ^( 'o')^

  • I'm guessing someone drew that picture? Only reason I can even tell is that the scratch marks look poorly done but other than that its close to flawless
