I could see that, nothin but crackheads. I think alot of it has to do with the fact that Vancouver and the Lower Mainland is basically the only area in Canada where you can survive year-round outdoors(its too damn cold everywhere else in the winter). So all the homeless flock to Vancouver.
Me and my girlfriend were out that way last summer and got completely lost comin back from downtown right in the heart of Hastings, at midnite on a Sat. Scary stuff...
As a piece of art I found this very moving. I live a few blocks from Hastings at Main, if that's important. I don't think it is but I do. Is it important, do you think, only teasing. Nice song!!!
We keep electing the morons who refuse to take action on this prob, it was not like this even 15 years ago in East van. This is what happens when bleeding heart liberals won't take action due to a few people's human rights. Lock them in a camp till they get clean or die..at least they have a choice.
and the ones here aren't liberal they're actually extremely conservative (mayor said "gay people over my dead body" or some random shit) but really it's the same thing they just refuse to do anything.... they made this retarded "red zone" downtown which drove all the crackheads into this neighbourhood.

The music so perfectly describes East Van that I gave this a high rating. The video would have been a lot better had the long and unrelated highway footage in the first half be swapped for a lot more East Van scenes like around Hastings & Main which is the most notorious.

Street level workers hand out free needles and condoms. Were talking thousands of really fucked up people at deaths door-living on the street, lower east side, Vancouver B.C.
